I'm kinda shocked I don't have Bloodlines anywhere in my top 10. I looked at it on my list, and it says I only have 2.8 hours logged into it, but I know I played the everliving hell out of it back in 2000-something.
And a little fun fact. Besides Half-Life 2, which obviously I didn't have much of a choice about back when it first came out, Bloodlines was the very first game I bought on Steam.

1. FTL - 390 (surprise to nobody, lol)
2. Fallout: New Vegas - 90 (never finished - hell, never started the end sequence)
3. Shadowrun Returns - 85 (once through Dead Man's whatever, twice through Dragonfall)
4. Deus Ex: Human Revolution - 84 (finished, got about halfway through a second run)
5. Mirror's Edge - 83 (finished many, many times)
6. Legend of Grimrock II - 70 (so, um, that's what I've been doing lately - finished once, started another run)
7. Dishonored - 63 (completed main quest and Daud's once)
8. Mark of the Ninja - 51 (completed ALL achievements, yikes)
9. Left 4 Dead 2 - 47
10. XCom: Enemy Unknown - 41 (Really? I never came close to finishing this. Combat got really dull at high levels.)
Honorable mentions: I've played a helluva lot of Deus Ex, Minesweeper, and Tron 2.0, but not through Steam.
EDIT: Hey, The Missing Link lists separate from DX:HR, for another 12.5 hours. That would move DX:HR to second place.

Oooh interesting.
1. Red Faction Guerrilla (120 and about to go up)
2. Stalker: Call of Pripyat (103)
3. Just Cause 2 (89. destructive sand boxes are quite the time sinks)
4. Deus Ex: Human Revolution (78. Only played through it twice. Seems high)
5. Mirror's Edge (51. seems low actually, after all the time trials)
6. Mass Effect (41)
7. Metro 2033 (38. Seems high again for two playthroughs)
8. Dishonoured (27. longer than I would have thought)
9. inMomentum (26. I quite like this speedrunning game even though hardly anyone else does)
10 Bioshock 2 (25) but if you don't count Minerva's Den it might tie or switch with Miasmata at 23hrs.
If you're a game with some quick way to just dive in and mess about for a while you can do well with me.

1: Terraria (874 hours)
2: Ciivilization V (548 hours)
3: Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition (276 hours)
4: Warlock - Master of the Arcane (224 hours)
5: Warlock 2: the Exiled (149 hours)
6: Saints Row: The Third (128)
7: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (123 hours)
8: Just Cause 2 (112 hours)
9: Darksiders II (62 hours)
10: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (61 hours)
Quite a bit down: Civilization: Beyond Earth - 37 hours, haven't owned this long enough to have put in more hours I guess. For the games with a campaign I've completed it (though not any of the Civ scenarios), but the top 5 are kinda time vampires even without a campaign focus if you're into their gameplay.

1. NBA 2K12 (647)
2. NASCAR The Game: 2013 (234)
3. Borderlands (203)
4. Borderlands 2 (179)
5. Skyrim (173)
6. New Vegas (149)
7. Torchlight (119)
8. Neverwinter Nights 2 (109)
9. Titan Quest (84)
10. Arma II OA (80)
I typically have a game that I can dip into for an hour here and there when I don't have time to commit myself to anything, and that's why 1&2 are 1&2. Otherwise, fairly standard stuff that takes awhile to play. Still have to do the Skyrim DLC actually, and those 173 hours were one character. The Mass Effect games, at least the first one and maybe second, would be near the top but I don't play them through Steam. Morrowind/Oblivion/Fallout 3 were also pre-owning them on Steam. Same with Jedi Knight II. And both NOLF games would be up there as well.

Mine was the Penumbra trilogy. Followed shortly thereafter by The Path, The Longest Journey, and Indigo Prophecy (none of which I've finished). Man that seems like a really long time ago.

Dota2: 1 151 hours
Frozen Synapse: 72 hours
FTL: 71 hours
CS:GO: 64 hours
Team Fortress 2: 62 hours
Skyrim: 43 hours
Binding of Isaac: 38 hours
Arma2 (DayZ): 37 hours
Alpha Protocol: 34 hours
Payday 2: 31 hours
A slightly lopsided list :D The list is a bit inaccurate that it is missing Counter-Strike: Source, which would probably have hundreds of hours in it. Another big time-sink (outside Steam) would be Starcraft 2, which is probably near Dota2. Then again, I've played some hundred hours of WC3 DOTA as well.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim : 61 hrs on record
Fallout: New Vegas : 59 hrs on record
Terraria : 55 hrs on record
DARK SOULS™ II : 52 hrs on record
Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition : 37 hrs on record
Mass Effect 2 : 31 hrs on record
Dishonored : 27 hrs on record
Warhammer® 40,000™: Dawn of War® II : 26 hrs on record
Left 4 Dead 2 : 26 hrs on record
Darksiders II : 26 hrs on record
I've finished all of them aside from Dragon Age, which I gave up on in the Deep Roads (as mentioned the 'What are you playing' thread). It's kinda sad that it's still my fifth longest playtime on Steam even so...
Here's a bonus second list: games I finished but Steam wasn't tracking playtime back then, so they look completely untouched:
BioShock
Dark Messiah of Might & Magic
Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2: Episode One
Half-Life 2: Episode Two
Half-Life 2: Lost Coast
As you guys can probably tell, I'm not much for replaying games unless it's YEARS later :D. And most of my recent replays (System Shock, Mega Man X, Ultima Underworld, Descent, etc.) obviously don't show up on Steam.

* DARK SOULS II - 206 hrs
* Dark Souls - 152 hrs
* Skyrim - 148 hrs
* Deus Ex: HR - 56 hrs
* Mass Effect 2 - 50 hrs
* Fallout: New Vegas - 48 hrs
* S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl - 42 hrs
* Mass Effect - 39 hrs
* Assassin's Creed II - 39 hrs
* King's Bounty: Armored Princess - 29 hrs
I've got quite a few Steam games that haven't registered how many hours I've poured into them because of additional clients (e.g. Far Cry 3) but also quite a few others that have only clocked up a few hours according to steam but in reality should be in my top 10 (e.g. Fallout). There are also many games in my library that I purchased on Steam sales that I had completed previously so obviously these won't show up either (e.g. Titanquest, VtmB)

1. Arma 3 - 373 hrs
2. Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead - 239 hrs
3. Counter-Strike: Source - 111 hrs
4. Dishonored - 92 hrs
5. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - 50 hrs
6. Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead Beta (Obsolete) - 44 hrs
7. Portal 2 - 43 hrs
8. Warlock - Master of the Arcane - 43 hrs
9. DCS: Black Shark - 30 hrs
10. Half-Life 2 - 30 hrs
>90% of my time in Arma 2: OA is through a launcher which doesn't count, so the hours should easily pass a thousand. I used to play Counter-Strike Source for about an hour a day since 2004 so it should also have an obscene playtime, but Steam only began counting when I was getting bored. Most of my time in Portal 2 was put into making levels which nobody played.
