I'm kinda shocked I don't have Bloodlines anywhere in my top 10. I looked at it on my list, and it says I only have 2.8 hours logged into it, but I know I played the everliving hell out of it back in 2000-something.
And a little fun fact. Besides Half-Life 2, which obviously I didn't have much of a choice about back when it first came out, Bloodlines was the very first game I bought on Steam.
Me too! Also the first Steam game I bought in a sale. :)
Here's mine:
1. Skyrim - 125hrs
2. Dark Souls - 104hrs
3. Borderlands - 57hrs
4. Borderlands 2 - 55hrs
5. Deus Ex: Human Revolution - 50hrs
6. Assassin's Creed 2 - 50hrs
7. Civilisation V - 44hrs
8. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - 42hrs
9. XCOM: Enemy Unknown - 40hrs
10. XCOM: UFO Defense - 38hrs
Probably look a little different if I included disc PC games and Uplay.

Seeing a lot of Deus Ex HR, Dead Souls, Dishonored, Ftl, Skyrim. Interesting to collate all the top 10s and see what the stats are.

2. FTL - 153 (and I still havent completed it )
3. Skyrim - 128
4. Just Cause 2 - 99 (never get sick of this game)
5. Worms Reloaded - 68 (lots of local deathmatch)

If I get time, I may find some way to push the stats together into some form of visual aid. It's all very biased, due to the amount of gaming which goes on outside of or unregistered by Steam (plus some fairly spurious figures like Henke's BS:I numbers, unless he's in serious denial or has been sleep-gaming ;)), but it might be interesting to show e.g. a pie chart of the top 10 games as % of people's top total 10 gaming time or something like that. Bah, I'm a scientist, I'll analyse a fucking shoe if you put it in front of me for long enough.

I'm never quite sure whether it takes into account "time spent minimised" and "time spent in the pause menu". I'm assuming "maybe" and "yes", but perhaps that's just because I secretly hope that's the case, given that I seem to have a surprisingly high percentage of shit in my top 10. Including fucking Neverwinter, an MMO with the worst case of balancing issues I've ever seen (though it was pretty). How I managed to rack up over 16 solid days on that I simply do not know.
And I never would've thought bloodbowl would be on the list. Mind you, I play a lot of less-processor intensive games offline on my crappy laptop while commuting, so they probably won't feature (FTL would be up there, I'm sure)
1. Neverwinter: 394 hours (!!!!!)
2. Borderlands: 315 hours
3. Global Agenda: 235 hours (I did play a lot of this, since it's basically team fortress 2 with jetpacks)
4. Mass Effect 2: 160 hours (two playthroughs, plus probably a lot of waiting to connect to the fucking cerberus network or whatever)
5. Dragon Age origins: 144 hours
6. Divinity: Original Sin: 143 hours
7. Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition: 141 hours
8. Battlefield: Bad Company 2: 127 hours (what? how? why? I didn't even LIKE this game)
9. Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition: 115 hours
10. Borderlands 2: 114 hours

Games keep clocking up minutes as long as they're running. I think henke had Bioshock Infinite minimised for an entire week. :p

I can't check my numbers right now but it's basically going to be Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout NV at the top of the list, all three having consumed truly shocking amounts of my life.

Surprised at mine:
1. Assassin's Creed Revelations (383 hours) - I'm betting thats due to all the damn days I spent sitting around waiting for the damn assassin send out missions to complete.
2. Shadowrun Returns (254 hours) - Considering how much time I tend to pump into working on my UGC (when I get the motivation), it makes sense.
3. Skyrim (216 hours)
4. Assassin's Creed 3 (177 hours)
5. Fallout New Vegas (146 hours)
6. Puzzle Quest 2 (126 hours)
7. Dark Souls 2 (123 hours)
8. XCOM Enemy Unknown (93 hours)
9. Borderlands (91 hours)
10. Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition (84 hours)

That'd make sense, but nope. I don't leave games running and do other stuff, and I never leave my computer on overnight. The BSI thing is just a straight up glitch. I didn't like the game to start with, and this really isn't endearing me to it further :grr:
Thor on 7/11/2014 at 11:58
1. Dishonored (63)
2. Team Fortress 2 (48)
3. Frozen Synapse (22)
4. Left 4 Dead 2 (21)
5. Trine 2 (17)
6. Super Hexagon (14)
7. Metro 2033 (13)
8. Splinter Cell: Conviction (13)
9. Portal 2 (13)
10. tie between Trine and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (12)
Some of the best games I've played through steam haven't made this list, though. The top 3 really are the top 3 in terms of fun being had, though. Metro 2033 was great too.
I've only completed both Trine games, Dishonored and Metro 2033. For others, like the splinter cells and Portal 2 I've only completed the multiplayer campaigns. Super Hexagonestestest is too effing hardcore for me I guess. :/ I also lost my appetite for it.

Ahhh, maybe it crashed and Steam didn't get the memo to stop counting. It would be funny if it was stuck like that forever and you had something stupid like 10,000 hours clocked for a game you don't like.
