I switched to the Steam version of Thief 1+2 during the Holiday sale 2012, so those hours only include time played since then. Also The Witcher 2 would have made this list but I have the GOG version.

Assetto Corsa is now up to 106 hours for me, no idea where it's going to end up but I wouldn't be surprised if a few years from now it's over 1,000.
Edit: Make that 108. Goddamn it Kunos.

There's no way I can get on to Steam on Rangoon wifi to check this (& work wifi at that), but number one is very likely Skyrim, and IIRC it's in the 200 hours range. Dishonored would be in the 15 hour range. That's all I recall offhand.
Of course the real time sinks for me are the games I play on my phone on commutes like chess, Adventure (on the Atari 2600 emulator), and two C64 games, which are all probably outrageously high just out of sheer repetition.

Yeah, I used to be a moderator on a L4D2 server. Got to the point where I just stopped playing it after the head mods clashed.
I will play it on rare occasion but at this point in time, I'm concentrating on REAL life at the moment.

That's cool, but the achievements degrade over time.

Heh. This thread actually made me log into Steam!
For anyone else who couldn't find where this info was, you need to click on your username (the big one, next to "community"), and then on "games" in the right sidebar.
I was curious as to what this would look like. I don't think it's very accurate, really. I completed Half-Life 2, which would surely take the #1 spot. Portal as well (it's not a long game, but it's obviously much more than 0.7 hours). At first I thought this meant they hadn't been collecting these stats from the outset; but maybe it's just the online servers which are tracking the time, rather than the client? That could also explain it (edit: yes, I see that earlier in the thread it was stated that this is the case). But then... Team Fortress 2 is online-only, and I thought I would have played that for at least an hour. Ah well.
1. Half-Life: Opposing Force (17.7)

6. Alien Shooter (4.3)
7. Alien Swarm (3.1)

9. Audiosurf (1.3)
10. SkyDrift (0.7)

I'd say I use Steam for upwards of 90% of my gaming these days, so it's a useful marker for people like me, though the fact that it doesn't log offline gaming, counts idle time while games are in pause and is prone to errors (benefit of the doubt Henke ;)), I'm taking it all with a pinch of salt. My guess is that the (current) top 3 picks of Skyrim / Dishonored / DX:HR as the TTLG top 3 is fairly faithful mind.

That is also true. I've only been on Steam since early 2010 (according to the Steam client at least), and I remember people talking about Steam starting to track time spent in games back then. Or a change in the way they did it.

They didn't start tracking play time on Steam until at least 2009. So you might've played it before said period.
