Got to admit many of the films people mention may as well be as made up as OB's, for all I've heard of them. I am totally unaware of anything that isn't a major blockbuster or nerd movie. :(

Pretty sure I only saw The Dark Knight Rises (twice) at the cinema. I wasn't too into it for the first viewing, but my enjoyment improved dramatically the second time round, I assume because I was too busy trying to absorb all of the content. Not the best of the trilogy, but perhaps the second best.

What amazes me is that you have the time to go see these movies. Personally I avoid going to the theater -- hate theaters, and for the rare movie I do want to see I can never make the time for -- and I can't get anyone else to go with me.

Why the hate for theaters? I personally still get a kick out of seeing movies in a theater setting, always feels like somewhat of an "event" when you go. And of course, the screen is bigger than my 46" TV at home.
Also, I won't hesitate to hit the theater solo - some people have a real issue with this, but hey, you're staring at a screen in a dark room for 2 hours, why not? When I quit smoking, I went to the movies solo about 2-3 times per week for about a month or so, it was a lot of fun and a very escapist.

Yeah I really like going to the cinema too. We got Cineworld cards late last year so I see almost everything that comes out. I only miss stuff that I actually don't want to see.
