Bogeyman - Yep, I too used the pile of crates around the back of the castle to make my way on top of the wall/roof.
Re that annoying little brat in Hong Kong - you don't get anything from killing him except to annoy Gordon Quick for a sum total of five seconds.
On the bright side, if you
really annoy Gordon Quick (best way is to stab him) until he turns red and starts shooting and then quickly run away he will finish off all the poilce and bots in the market area.
This leaves you free to kill that bloody annoying flower lady who pesters you to buy something whenever you come within ten yards of her

They do not get sucked into the vacuum cleaner of confusion, but remain steadfastly anchored in the threads of the wool-blend carpet of enlightenment.

Salut.
What I don't understand about the pick-up corpse problem is how on earth they missed it, especially when there's millions of simple solutions to get round it.
(My personal favourite being double tapping the mouse to pick up the body no matter what it's carrying)

Are you sure about that? Gotto try it out.

Salut.
No - what I meant is that's how they should have solved the problem.

Make the game harder in some way, possibly through following suggestions. There's a reason the help forum is so tiny.
Minimun Skill Requirements: I think it would make more of a "choices" feel if a character with untrained in every skill can't kill robots easily with GEP, kill troops easily with DT sword, pick the locks/hack the keypads in the final area, etc.
Don't make enemies recover from stunning effects if you beat them in the head with a baton. As someone once put it "Thanks I needed that!"
More humorous guard conversations (this was the best part of Thief).
More balanced skills.
Disparate aug choices so instead of choosing between two similar augs (Invis to organic or robotic) you choose between augs for different styles of play.
A halfway decent assault rifle.
Co-op mode.
The other stuff

I thought the choice between visual, or radar cloak was great. You just choose the cloak against which ever enemy bothers you the most. Plus you can get them both, if you don't pick that strong skin aug.

I'd like some augs that are on all the time. (no not the 2 you get on the start) Maybe a bio-electricity generator that recharge you very slowly on tech 1 then slightly then get progressively faster as level goes up. That way, players would be encouraged to make more use of the augs.

Got another one. Why do I need an inventory spot to pick up food? If my inventory is full, why can't I pick it up and hold it like one would do with an object like a pot/pan? Then I can just eat it right there to get my quick two points. It is silly to expect someone to (free a spot), pick up an item and then go into the inventory screen to use it. Really can slow down the game.
I am constantly picking up knives/pistols from bodies and then having to drop them with my current character. This is really annoying and I though I would mention it again.

Replace JC Denton with Lara Croft. Then replace Maggie Chow with Jacqueline Natla. And then replace the Illuminati with the Spice Girls.

The combat AI. It's terrible. The wonderfully bright opponents often start getting their asses kicked, run around in circles then stand on the spot and don't even flinch as you approach with a gun pointed right at their head.
