The Scary Castle is one of three missions by Sluggs from the (

https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=151188) 'The Drop!'. The release thread of all missions from this contest is dated Dec 7, 2006.
It is another short one: Took me around 6 minutes on Hard. The front door and the glass facade of the castle are built with one regular door and one regular window, both stretched to ridiculous size. The outer wall is adorned with a similarly oversized skull. The sky is blood red, which gives the mission a distinct look. There are a couple of Haunts on the premises, but they can be easily dispatched with one of the 666 fire arrows locked away in a pickable chest in a hollow tree left of the castle entrance.
As an entry to the Total Crap FM Contest, this missions succeeds insofar as the comical dimensions of the castle will at least give you a chuckle. Other than that, there isn't anything noteworthy about it. Other entries in the contest were more creative and have a more lasting appeal.
