For some reason I kept failing the mission, thinking a guard was seeing me. But after looking at a map of Mosley's path, I found out that I kept failing because she kept getting screwed up on her path and crossing the little bridge in the marketplace back toward the guard post, instead of walking straight through on the south side of it. Any suggestions on how to get her to follow the right path? :(

You don't need to follow Mosley. You need to follow the letter she has in her hand. When she drops it, pick it up, read it and then hide. Follow the person who comes and picks it up. It is dropped in a different place on each difficulty setting so watch it carefully. It's easy to miss.
