Trailer for TDS? after 4Years!. - by Gillie

I know it should really focus on the stealth instead of the action.
But I think we also have to think about their POV.
The devs need to grab attention of potential players by the ball. This can be done by showing ALL that Garrett could do (both stealth and action).
The other way would be making a trailer where we see Garrett sneaking, walking slowly, stopping... waiting for a guard to pass by... walking slowly again...
While this is the main focus of the game and we really like it when we´re playing it´s really not as engaging as a trailer for a game.

The trailer is good, but I don' t like the music
Funny thing is, that music is from the mission briefing for The Sword, sort of remixed with with a drum beat. The feedback/guitar sounds at the end of the trailer are from the end of the last cutscene in The Dark Project.
The only significance I can put to this is, maybe this is a very early trailer before music for TDS was finished. Otherwise, why wouldn't you use TDS music for a TDS trailer?

By showing them to expect melee and win in an arrogant and mocking manner as standard fare?:sly:
And after watching the TDP trailer, it still did a better job. Yes, it had violence, but it showed interesting stealth, and made a point of it. It helped to have Garrett voice-overs like you'd hear in-game, during situations you'd play in-game, and it emphasized the deadly consequences of engaging more than one guard at a time, while the TDS trailer did not. The TDS trailer shows Garrett always winning and flaunting--cocky--while the TDP trailer shows more danger to the player, while still showing that it's winnable.

The image of the main character not being visible always wanted me to see a movie bill where you see only a hint of Garrett, as part of some street scene or something. Not the shiny hero with his weapon ready (what even the old packages had), but basically everything except for the hero.

I guess that was back in beta time. I really liked the music and it was a good trailer, the scenes looked so cool! But Garret would never really kill someone. I just wish we could get the original music made for the dark project.

Well Garrett has killed before...
Poor Trickster and Karras.
But I can´t blame him. It was either kill them or let the City enter a dark age/get dusted. Extreme situations.

Technically, he helped them accidentally kill themselves....:p
