Searching the TTLG forums for mentions of Trials Evolution turns up threads like "Finally!!! A black guy in Thief!" and "Burn in hell, Harry Potter". Hilarious as those results are, I'm still somewhat saddened to not find one single mention of the motocross-physics-stunt-game game by RedLynx which recently got ported to PC. I bought it last weekend and I've torn through about most of it's levels since then.
The Bad (the port)I'd heard rumors that it was pretty bad before I played it and sadly I must confirm those rumors. It's not unplayable by any means but there are a host of annoying hiccups which hindered my enjoyment somewhat. First off, it's not a great engine. The highest supported resolution is 1600x900, and there are occasional framerate drops when a lot of physics and particle stuff is going on at once. There also seems to be some problems with the server connection, I haven't managed to get the replays of any other players on the leaderboard to play correctly, and on one level the game delayed my every retry by a few seconds by always uploading my "New Personal Best" score every single time I wiped out even when it was nowhere
near my personal best. The game also crashed for me once. And the replay-saving system which uploads your videos to YouTube almost always makes them laggy.
The Good (the actual game)The gameplay fulfills the classic criteria for how a great game should be designed: easy to learn, near-impossible to master. I've had few experiences in gaming recently that have been as humbling as when I sweat blood to earn a Gold medal on a stage, and then afterwards look up replays of how the best players in the world do that same level. The leveldesigns are all top notch as well, with lots of high-concept designs like levels based on Limbo and Inception. Earlier today I played one where parts of the stage kept getting submerged in water so you had to move quickly.

I dont really like racing games much, they have to bring something special to the table for me to even play more than once. This game does that, the stunt/trick mode is awesome, reminds of classics like Flatout2.

Yeah the stunt games are a hoot. Especially like the skiing, UFO and swinging ones.

Alrighty, got Gold Medals on all the Easy, Medium, and Hard stages, except for the Gigatrack which I only have Silver on. But I'm not sure I hate myself enough to put myself through even trying to get Gold on that one.
