Nope. When I grew up and my parents bought our first, shared computer I got used to using the mouse with my right hand and with default settings (since everyone else was right-handed).
Shit, same situation with me. I'm the only left-handed person in my whole family (grandparents and cousins included). Then again, I've been touted as the smartest of the "new generation."

After reading this thread I digged out my old CRT again and played T2 with it. The difference was amazing. :wot:
I think I'm gonna use it from now on as second monitor (also usefull for programming) and for playing Thief...

CRT is the only way of playing Thief. Quality CRT monitors, while displaying a black image in a pitch black room look just like they would look when turned off. Which is why I have about... 4 or 5 spare CRT monitors in case my current one breaks. Nothing beats a good ol' 21" CRT (it weighs a TON though.)

I just have a regular DELL CRT 20" monitor setup with my usual razor lycosa keyboard and razer mouse handy ;) (they both glow eerie blue)
But, I have one important thing I do for thief gaming.. (I've written this before) First I simply must have this tea:

and then preferably something salty to go along with that. So, when I wait for guards to make their rounds, I eat a bit of snacks and drink a bit of tea, I originally did this as an experiment to see if one could activly link an experience/memory to a taste, and it worked beyond expectation! (then again, I didn't know how incredible of a game thief would turn out to be)
Goddamn you taffers, time to brew up a batch of tea!
*hugs the community* Thank you all for being here!

After three months of crunch mode, three major demos, two trade shows, trying to ship a working release, and having gone well over a month completely dry with no gaming whatsoever, I was finally able to sit down last night, install Gold on my new system, suss out ddfix, and...

http://teachsolaisgames.com/pictures/taffingsmall.jpg...stumbled to bed half an hour later when my caffeine levels dropped below critical levels.
Pics came out way to bright, though. That there is just enough light to make out the keys on the keyboard. I've found red lights work better for back lighting. Maybe it offsets LGS's fondness for blue. I ought to be able to explain this color theory in my sleep -- but it's the lack of decent sleep that's getting to me.
Going to keep cherishing my nice (and probably irreplaceable at this point) 21" IBM trinitons.
Is it just me, or does DDFix muck up the aspect ratios?

Gyah! My eyes! The light... It burns! It burns!!
Good grief, Bikerdude, what kind of self-respecting computer geek can stand that much illumination?

Heeey! Bikerdude, you and I have the same desktop image. I use the Earth picture for my laptop, though--not my desktop.
But, yeah...that's a lot of screens going on at once. I only use at most two: I usually do stuff on my desktop and have my laptop off to the side turned on, too (I use it for chat). But you have like, over 9000 candlelights lighting up your room.
