It's heavily stylized, and probably pretty creative considering the generic subject matter they start with. But it's not like it's doing anything there that couldn't have been done on the playstation 2. Color me unimpressed.
At any rate, it's a moot point for me - there's clearly not enough content for a $30 game, not with the competition it's got out there.

Kinda fixed my graphics problems with this; by turning everything off High (why does it do that??) and anti aliasing etc.
Still getting the odd flashes of red/colour distortion in the background though...and the game hangs occasionally. I'm starting to wonder if my graphics card is on the blink.

together with shadowgrounds I do not regret paying 30 bucks for it.
i think it's lovely and very well made.

Having played the demo, it's a beautiful thing to behold and a lot of love has obviously gone into it.
My initial delight with the grappling hook was subdued by the subsequent levitating, which I found slightly tedious. Incidentally, something about the initial level also reminded me of a few of the Diablo III screenshots.
I'm in two minds whether to buy it, I'd probably enjoy it but 30E is a bit steep. Maybe if it rains a lot towards the end of this month.

I think your card overheats.

Is it a CRT? I got those with my old one and had to buy a new flatscreen. It's a mechanical problem, not something related to drivers, etc.

back to trine: LOVED the game, playing again now and forcing a friend to wizard my thief character around. it's actually sometimes harder to progress since some characters have a harder time getting thru a setpiece than others (especially when you don't have any special abilities yet).
I certainly played longer than 6hours but I'm bad at platforming and I tried to get to all the specials/hidden stuff as well. I'd say 8-9hours.

mhm, trine is my little friend. such a lovely game. won't end on my "end of year best lists" like ZenoClash but will get an honorable mention for being so classic and classy.
