I really enjoyed TL, but was rather disappointed by the constant switching between 2D & 3D, which I found to be disconcerting and annoying. Otherwise, I thought it was very well done (but then again, I've always had serious crushes on Jeff Bridges & Bruce Boxleitner).

Constant? The real-world parts at the beginning and end were 2D. Everything in between was 3D.

Then maybe my 3D glasses weren't working properly, because my friend & I noted that there were scenes throughout the movie that were more 2D-like than 3D. Those scenes that seemed to be 2D (aside from the beginning & end) were mainly the scenes of Bridges & Hedlund having one-on-one dialogue, iirc. My friend kept flipping up her glasses & saying, 'Nope, this one's in 2D'. If those scenes were indeed in 3D, then they weren't very good 3D, imho.
