I GOT AN PROBLEM FELLOW MEMBERS OF THE THIEVES GUILD, WHEN IM DONE WITH ALL THE OBJECTIVES IN MISSION ASSASSINS (THIEF: GOLD) AND THE FINAL MISSION CUTSCENE APPEARS, THE GAME CRASHES AND I GET THIS ERROR

I CANT CONTINUE PLAYING FOWARD, COULD ANYONE HELP ME?

I'll wager the file path to Thief is too long. Try moving it to something like C:/games/Thief.
Also, ALL CAPS is annoying anywhere on the internet. Your thread is no more important than any other.

Damn it gets the same error, and the same path folder, althought i moved it to C:\games\thief-gold

Tried to fix with windows compatibility but nothing, and the errors only pop in assassins, i didnt had problems with bafford manor and bonehoard missions, so i dont know what to do :confused:

Is this the first time you've played through this install? It might be a corrupted download. Where did you download it from?

Please post contents of your install.cfg file from C:\games\thief-gold folder.

SlyFoxx is right. It's game's path that exceeds the default sized buffer. Probably an overflow. It's not enough to simply move the game to a new location, you have to also edit the file mentioned above, correcting paths to game's files.

I reinstalled the game in c:\programfiles\thief-gg, copied the savegames and now it go through assassins (the sword, havent played it since 2003 :D) so thanks very much all of you!!!
i love this game, all the secuel, not just TDS, great storyline, obviously its the best game in the world, sorry my wrong english, this game teached me all i know about the language.
