So problem is solved? Nothing bad in 64bit version?

If someone has Windows 7 x86 and wants to try testing this thoroughly, I could try changing... something to see if I can work out what's causing it to fail on 32-bit systems. I'm not quite sure what I'd try, though.

I have two machines with Win 7 x86 and DromEd / Thief 2 installed and would assist you in testing if you like to...

Ran into this issue again today. NVScript in my editing directory wasn't working, but I tested it in my FM playing directory and it was working there.
I did nothing but reboot and now it's working again in my editing directory.

Perhaps some required resource is getting locked, and freed up on reboot? Not sure how XP emulation circumvents that on W732 though.

What about the DEP in Windows 7, this might be the source of the problem (for example, Vista's DEP made it impossible for me to play TDS as long as it was activated)?

I also had problems with NVScript on my Windows 7 x64 PC and rebooting fixed it. So another notch in the belt of "rebooting on w7 x64 fixes NVScript".

Yeah, happened again to me today. Had to reboot twice to fix it, though.

I had to rework some parts of my upcoming contest mission due to NVScript not working, in order to make the mission playable even if NVScript doesn't work.
One of my testers had the same problem with Windows Vista recently.

Doing technical effects without custom scripts is more fun anyway. :p
I do wish I knew what was causing it, but I can't really think of anything to try changing to make it work.
I suppose I could try deleting half the scripts and see if that fixes the problem. It's a bit arbitrary, though.
