Hello Taffers, I remember playing a scary mission, to where I had to stop playing it for a while. It was in 09, but I don't know if it was new then. I don't remember much now but I know it was a abandoned place that was big, and it might have had hexagonal library rooms. It definitely had books all over.
I think you get to go outside at one point and it makes you feel safe but it is naturally closed off. Maybe rocks? I believe there was bats and werewolves out there too. Maybe a well in the ground you can hide in? That's all I can remember. I want to play it again, I have just about played every human mission, it's time I go get scared.

Unknown Danger is a scary mission with lots of books and an outdoor bit. Might be it.

First fm that come to my mind is Dracula. But it was a while since i played it, so not sure if it fits your description.
