Okay, this is a game I played WAY back when, and used to love during my formative adolescent years. It's an old EGA text parser game similar to Space Quest and its ilk, where you play as a little astronaut type guy stranded and alone in a decrepit space station on, I think, the moon. If I recall correctly, you wake up from cryogenic sleep, completely alone in a mysterious situation (like 10,000 other games), and have to repair parts of the station before embarking out onto the surface of the moon to find out exactly what's going on. I seem to also recall an asteroid or something. The one thing I can definitely remember without a doubt was the little squarish landing vehicle with the bulbous cockpit and the hexagonal hatch on the side.
Like I said, it's an old game, and I only have vague memories of it. The first name that popped in my mind was Moonfall or something similar, but so far google hasn't given me any hits.
Remember, it's an EGA classic back from '89 or so, and looks and plays almost exactly like Space Quest 1 or any other old Sierra adventure game. If any of you can recall the name, I will forever be in your debt.
Well, I found it. It wasn't Moonfall, it was...er...(
