Anyone know what this means: Trying to SetData on a Locked Resource! I searched but could not find.
It appears to refer to a change made to something in one of the CRF files, which, of course, Dromed won't allow. But I can't figure out what it is. It only refers to line 2232.

Hmmm... Have you tried unlock_all (I think that's what it is) in the console box?

This used to happen (in OldDark) when you assigned a texture to a replaceable that wasn't otherwise loaded. So if you broke the rules and assigned a fam texture but didn't add it to the texture palette, you would see this. Not sure if it means the same thing in NewDark or not.

So this is Ricebug having the same issue again after 2+ years. I'd laugh, except I could so easily do the same (make an error again that I knew better than two years ago).

Your time is coming, taffer. I can't remember what I did 2 days ago!
Actually, it's a mission I'm doing a walkthrough on, not one of mine.

Funny, I searched by post and didn't even notice he started that thread. But yeah, Thief is 20 years old, so there's quite a few of us geriatrics out there.

Actually it's my mission who caused Ricebug to bring this up again, he's not completely senile yet!
Jokes aside, I have that message popping up three times everytime in my monolog but I was told that it's nothing to worry about.
I tried to fix it again just now by following what's been said : "unlock_all" and copied every "replacement" textures in obj\txt16\ and updated every object in the mission I believe. I even reloaded every texture families back again to make sure.
Now the message appears one time only, is there any other reason for that to happen? Can it be caused by objects that exist only in the archetype section?

Use the query function and check all the shape-->replacement tags (TxtRepl r0, r1...)
FrenchDecay on 2/5/2017 at 18:42
Oh my, I wish I knew about that query function way earlier, it makes things way easier than tracking every item one by one!
I got them all so no luck on that side. I forgot to mention it in my post above but I also assigned the textures from secret doors on some brushes, since that error is said to occur when a texture is used on objects only.
I also noticed that the line pointed out by the error message changed, now it's "resimage.cpp@2432", I haven't changed a single .crf file. I have no idea of why since I haven't changed removed or added a single object
