Stitch never argued that everyone should be like him, you know.
Xenith on 5/10/2009 at 16:52
We could just burn him alive you know, along with everything that has no place in the thread.
OR... we could shoot each other in the face! from the gut!

Or we could play the mod and swap opinions on how well it restores cut content and fixes inconsistencies
And take our increasingly circular discussion to PMs
Just a thought

All yall just need to fuck each other and get it done and over with. The tension is obviously there, but no one has made that first bold move yet. Someone needs to do something soon though, before the blueballs and sexual frustration spill out into the streets and people start dying.

This is my last post on this issue, but: if everyone was like you in this matter, there would be no performances ever of Shakespeare's
Macbeth or Mozart's
Requiem or Orff's
Carmina Burana. Don't you think that this might be a shame?
Of course it is, although what you're talking about now is
performance (which I suppose I introduced to the discussion by mentioning my music-making days). Performance is an entirely different matter, with its own struggles and rewards.
There's plenty more to discuss here, but I'm actually pretty sympathetic to those of you yelling at me for getting this thread off track. I debated leaving this as is, but in the end decided I had to clarify a few points, for my sake at least. I was trying to do a little cleaning on a mess I had introduced.
But I'm done now.

I'll believe that when I see it.

I see this RCM thing is out now.
I've had KOTOR 2 for years but never played it past the beginning because I'd heard the ending sucked.
Is it worth re-installing the game with this mod or not?
EvaUnit02 on 7/10/2009 at 17:15
Just play through the game with the mod installed. What have you got to lose? It can't be any more buggy than the vanilla game.
Thirith on 8/10/2009 at 06:10
It sounds like the pacing is seriously out of whack in the 'restored' version of the game. If that is true, I might mind that more than the bugs. Doesn't matter, though; it's not as if I've got the time to replay KOTOR 2 at the moment. If I'm lucky, this mod will be out of beta (or TSLRP might be out, haha...) by the time I get around to replaying the game - something I definitely want to do.

Quoted for agreement. I, for one, am excited as Hell to finally be able to play a game I LOVE, closer to the way the devs (though unfortunately NOT THE PUBLISHER :mad::mad:) wanted it to be.
I have 2 questions for Stitch: Did you play KotOR 2? how did you feel about the last 1/4 of the game?
It really does feel rushed as fuck. It is even worse than the ending of Halo 2. That game suffered the same fate, the publisher forced them to release it too early for them to fully flesh out the last chapter. It is a growing problem in the industry, and I am glad that we have dedicated modders out there to dig through the discs, research interviews, etc...and try to do the games justice. This is a triple-A title and has a huge fanbase. Thousands upon thousands of people are grateful for this, and I imagine it will even sell a few copies of the PC version. They still sell it new at WalMart, Target, and Bestbuy, so I imagine LucasArts will be grateful as well. :D
