TTGM 1: Errand Boy (4/8/2000)

This mission is great so far (on Hard). However:

[SPOILER]I can't get into the Ticksters Gem Mine. I think I'm supposed to go up a rope arrow and through the window but it is too small to get through. Is there another way? [/SPOILER]

There's no real mine to get into in this mission. Can you be more specific about what objective you've got left unticked and the location of the window that you're attempting to get into? I should be able to help you then because I know this mission quite well. :)

I searched before I posted this and you do indeed know it well Nightwalker - you seem to answer all the queries!

I don't mean a mine but a building.
[SPOILER]It is the one opposite the Dock Masters I think, on the far left of the map. Up the road is the closed resturant with a drunk guard outside. You can use a rope arrow to get into the Dock Masters house (found the secret room!), the Taxidermists and the living area above the resturant.

It is the building with the first safe and pin number in it. Stimies or something. You nned to get into the safe with the Keymaster's Key and take the key in the safe to the taxidermists to get the 2nd pin. Know which building I mean? I can't get into it! [/SPOILER]

You're probably trying to get in the wrong window. There are two upper story windows into that building. One is lit and more noticeable but nearly impossible to get into. Try going a little farther up the street towards the drunk guard and look for an unlit window. That's the one you get in through. :)

I had the same question but now I know where to look for the second code number! A little search and you get the answer from a 2 year old thread :)

To Belboz: This mission is excellent! A city to explore, a lot of mansions, spiders, many keys, good story, lots of texts to read, many secrets, and spiders :ebil: ! Everything I like to see in a mission. It's also challenging and requires you to search (looking up :rolleyes: ?) to find a way inside a building. I wanted to start with one of the newest parts of the TTGM serie,The Trickster's Rift Gem Mine, but because I never played the previous parts I decided to start from the beginning! I hope they're all as good as Errand Boy :thumb: How many more parts of the serie can we expect??

OK, I have deposited Eleuin on the bed, and given his notes to the Keeper, but it hasn't checked it off my objective list. :confused:

Could I get a gental nudge as to how to get into the mouses house?

Oh, BTW I'm playing on "Expert" level.

This is as awesome as any mission in the original T2MA!!! The only problem is I have to get up @ 6 AM, and I can't seem to pull away from this thing till around midnight!

hmm try dropping them, IIRC that's what i did.
and THAT is where the rat lives, if you notice in the left corner there's a small hole leading to the area where you got Eluen
