That's very true, Roz. I've replayed Errand Boy quite a few times and I still have fun with it and sure it will be the same for his new ones.

Er, silly me, but I don't seem to be able to find the 1st Tripartite key -- I have the secret door document, so I know where I'm supposed to look for it (I've got the the keys from the dining room and Tessara's chest). I've been through every room at every floor at the back of the chams and every floor in the structure across the dining room three times now and found plenty of LC loot but but I just can't find it. What am I missing?

Hi, Roz.
Spoiler:
It sounds like you found the one down below the elevator. The easiest way to get to the other one is to climb up on rooftop of the builidings on the second floor (You can rope arrow up or go through the door in the ceiling of the jail.) and go to the far end (S.) where, if you look over the side, you will see a pipe running through a hole in the wall. Jump down onto the pipe and walk through the hole in the wall. Don't turn left onto the long pipe, but keep walking straight ahead onto the girder. At the end, jump to the platform that will be to your left below you. There is a ladder up from this platform. Explore up there.

I have explored the submarine that wrecked the ship, but can't seem to figure out where to go from there. Judging from the clues, there's obviously dry land or a complex somewhere, but I can't seem to find anything but the wrecked ship and the submarine. Any hints greatly appreciated!!!

Are you in Up Shit Creek or still in Shore Leave? It sounds like the latter to me. If that is the case, highlight here:

Spoiler:
You need to stowaway in a cargo locker and for that you need the correct key. Which one depends on your difficulty level. You should be able to find a clue on board hinting at which locker you need and where the key is. If you are playing on the Easiest level, it is on board, otherwise you need to use the ancient coins you can find on board to teleport back to the city and locate the keys there.

If that's not the right spot, or you need more specific help, post more details of where you are including the difficulty that you are playing on.

I'm playing on Expert difficulty. I got the key, opened the secret compartment, and stowed away on board. We went through the sequences where the ship wrecks and the crew dies. Now I'm in the sequence where some mechanist-looking folks with diving helmets are guarding the sub and the wreck. I've found only 1 ancient coin, though. Am I still in 'Shore Leave'? I have to admit, I haven't got the key to Cargo Bay 5, which may be a lot of the problem. Any gentle hints? Thanks!

You'll know when you are in the next mission. You'll get the end screen and then you have to hit "continue" to go on to Up Shit Creek.
Hints here:
Spoiler:
You should have found a hint that said something about someone having the key until they went to get flowers to put on someone's grave. That means you have to transport back to the city. On the sub, you will find two "pads" and close by there is a small, metal plate that you can interact with. Use the coin like a key on the plate and then look at the pads. One of them will have sparkly particles over it. Just walk over and onto the pad and you'll end up back on shore. Then you have to go find some flowers and a place to put them.

Highlight here if you want to know where to find the flowers and where to put them:
Spoiler:
There are wooden ledges around the upper stories of some of the buildings. In one of the apartments that you can get into from these ledges, there is a bunch of flowers that you can pick up and it goes into your inventory. After you have those, go back to the Brotherhood of the Sword warehouse and find the door out to the graveyard. Place the flowers on one of the graves and the key will appear.

Thinking that its better to use a current topic than create a new one my question is this.
How the hell do I get into the submarine?
And where can I find one of those ancient coins?
Nightwalker on 29/11/2001 at 16:30
Your question is a little vague. Are you at the shipwreck site and attempting to get into the submarine or are you still on shore trying to figure out how to get to the submarine? Post more details and help will be given.
As for the ancient coins, you can find one on the submarine in a chest. You can also get some before that.
Spoiler:
Have you found all 4 skulls and placed them in the proper spot to open the treasure area? If you have, then down there you found a body part that goes into your inventory. Take that body part and place it in a metal bottomed bin (there is a note nearby explaining something about a sacrificial rite) and a big metal door nearby will slide sideways and reveal a room you couldn't enter before. There are some coins in here.
