I am in Shore Leave in hard mode. I have done the skulls, etc., and need the
key to the submarine hold #4. The hint said the key was dropped in the machine
room in the warehouse. I can find generator rooms almost everywhere, but what
do they mean by a "machine room", and where is it??

It's the Warehouse in the Brothers of the Sword compound. There's a spot with a green spider walking back and forth in front of some pipes. Look on the pipes for the key. :)

I am trying to get into the tombs under the temple, but when I try to go down the ladder, I just get stuck in the opening and the only way I can get down is to fall and generally die. I've tried the slowfall potion, but it doesn't work. Am I missing something? I've tried this about ten times and just can't seem to stick on the ladder and climb down. It's either get stuck in the opening until my invisibility wears off or fall. Is there a trick to this?

I finally made it down in one piece, but now only three of the skulls seems to be working - the fourth one does not disappear when I place it on the tomb. What now? It was so hard to get down here I am reluctant to have to do this all again.

They're a little tricky to get in the right spot. If the others worked then you obviously must have the right one, so just keep trying to place it in different spots on the coffin until it works. :)

Blast it! I was hoping there was something else. I spent ages with that fourth skull.
Never mind - if this particular stuckage is anything like the usual, I will resolve the problem the very first time I try it after posting for help, thus making me feel like a total idiot.
