I can only find two of the snake heads - I think the blue one and the green - one found near the central pillar that lights up when the snake heads are placed, and one at the top of the high tower above the lava pit (past the temple). Where are the others? I can't go anywhere else, it seems, because the transporter isn't working. I'm playing on Hard.
I love the blue Burrkeys - they make such a pitiful sound when you whack them upside the head.
Ruby Lava Snake Head:
Go along the pathway from the start, that crosses the river and just before the archway through into the central square, mantle up onto the wall to your right. Walk back (E) to the building behind it, and go through a window where you can see flies buzzing.
Emerald Tree Snake Head:
Go into the centre square and go west to the end. Climb the stairs on the left, but before you enter the room at the top, look to your left and you’ll see a snake statue you can mantle up on top of. Walk along the pipe leading out from it, across the lava and drop down through a hole in the roof.
Sapphire Lake Snake Head:
Go to the NE corner of the central square, mantle up onto the north wall and look ahead to the left. There’s a tunnel opening over there. Cross to the other wall, then drop down and go through the tunnel. Once in the room with the big temple, stay to the left (W), and go through the archway on that wall. Go to the right, past the structure where you place the snake heads, and into the tunnel entrance on the north wall. Cross the lava on the narrow stone bridge, follow the tunnel to a cave ramps over lava. Climb to the top and get the snake head.
Diamond Ice (white) Snake Head:
Head back to the room with the structure where you place the snake heads. Put the three you have in place, then go out into the main room, climb the platforms at the side of the central temple (there are guards by the front stairs) and go around and inside the now open doors. There will be a yellow “Bridge” tri-key on a shelf. Take it, go out the east side of the square and “use” the key on the pedestal by the lava. A bridge extends, then cross it and follow the passageways to the end to a cave with a set of stairs.
Thanks. Looks like it's the ruby I'm missing. I thought I'd climbed into all the available windows - guess not!
This is a great mission (as are all of the ones in this series). I love the touches of the Lost City (one of my favourites for the atmosphere).

Belboz makes great missions and they've always been favourites with me, too. I've played Errand Boy so many times, I can close my eyes and walk through it in my mind. LOL! :)

I agree
Those missions are wonderful. :thumb:

For the longest time I have been playing this mission on expert looking for all of the loot. I have 4154 out of 4479 loot, which means I'm missing quite an amount. I have scoped out the entire area via rooftops, ground, and I'm sure I looked in every nook and crannie. I went into Dromed to make a more thorough search, but due to the mission size, this was quite a task. All pockets are picked, I got the artifacts by using the gold skulls, and I found the secret loot box. I'm either missing another area or just some well hidden loot. If anyone remembers hard to find loot in this mission, or has a previous save with more loot than I found, or can possibly help me with this I would appreciate it.

Just got round to playing this mission. No real problems, but having done the whole skull malarkey, and been to the sub via the teleporters I have to find the key in the machine room.
Problem is I've lost the machine room!
No really, I've wandered all over the place and can't find the damn place! I've been there several times but now can't find it again.
Pretty sad I know. Can someone supply me with directions so I can get on with this most entertaining mission?
Nightwalker on 3/6/2003 at 15:56
By "machine room" you must mean the one in the Brother's of the Sword Warehouse, right? You're almost there when you teleport back from the sub. You end up in the basement of a building. Climb back upstairs to the outside, then outside that door, turn to your right and walk down to the far end of the compound. There's a door into the warehouse just to your right a bit. Go over to the far end, where there's a small "metal room" with some vent pipes coming out of the side. The key's on the lower pipe. Look carefully, because it's hard to see. :)

Arghhhhhh. I forgot that there was anything else up that end of the Sword temple.
Thanks. Am now merrily stuck in Shit Creek trying to get a pyramid key land in the right place on it's stand. I'll get there...
