In the snake temple, the
Diamond snake head one, which is across the lava river you need the yellow triangle key to cross, there is a green thing with stars on it in the middle of the first room.
There are holes in each face of it, which you can see through out the other side. When I climb to the top of it, there is a small square on the point that is a lighter color green, which is right under the blue light gem. In the room are two stone doors, without ways to open them.
After reaching the back room, where you get the white snake head, a 2nd blue ape triggers. After this ape paths out of the room it is in, if I QuickSave then QuickLoad, it's door stays open. Inside is a small room, with only a lever in the upper corner, which opens and closes the door. The stone door on the other side of the room, tho, never opens. Is there anything behind the 2nd door, and is the green thing with the lighter color top tip for anything?
There is a scroll from the Friend who escaped Tessera in his hidden room that mentions finding a map. One of the ojectives is find more info on this place, then use it to escape. Is the map Tessera mentions the white one that has the colored lights show when the heads are put into place, or is there another one (as in the objective to find more info)? And will the objective check off when I complete the mission, or did I miss something (as in finding more info on the ancient place)?
Thanks!
*Edit* - Ack! I just jumped to see what it would do, and the objective checked off, heheh. That leaves the questions about the green thing and the door still. Thanks!

I can't work out what you are on about. You need four snake heads to escape the temple area, from the place you place the heads, there is one north of you, one south west of you, one north east, and I've forgotten where the other one is. the thing to get across the river of lava is in the big snake temple at the top, the snake temple across the river of lava contains another snake head, the doors in that one you can't open, they contain apes for different difficulty levels.

In the
Diamond snake head room (where you pick the Diamond head up from), when you enter in, there is a room with a blue light gem over a green 'hut' thing in the middle that has white stars all over it, like the portal pads texture/skin/whatever the word is.
It just looks like this has a different purpose. The reason I would think it does, is that there is one door in this temple that does not open, and the green 'hut' thing looks like it has a 2nd purpose. The door that does not open is opposite the one that the 2nd ape comes out from. Both look like grey stone. The one that the ape comes out from does have something behind it, even if it is just an empty room for the ape to wait in to be triggered. I never could get the 2nd door to open, or another ape to come out, or anything. can the 2nd door be opened?
The green 'hut' thing that sits square in the middle of the entry room has two holes thru it. Each end of the hole is seen, one in each side of the 'hut'. I climbed to the top of the 'hut', and exactly over the tip of the 'hut', which is gently pointed (not sharply), there is a square of lighter-shaded texture/skin/etc. Most things in game, when they move/frob/etc, have a lighter texture. Secret doors are mostly easy to spot, because the lighter textures stand out from the wall texture. This tip looks like it moves, 'cuz it is shaded the same way. Since it is exactly under the blue light gem, it almost looks like if a pyramid-shaped thing were put in the center of it (where the holes thru the 'hut' cross), the top could move, and the gem light would channel thru the holes. Or a mirror-thing to make light bounce to somewhere thru one of the holes that needed it to trigger something. (Soul Reaver 2 used light bouncing to do things, is where I get it from.)
Also, in Shore Leave, in the
Egyptian-like temple that has the portal in it
there are two holes in that green 'hut'. These angle down and into the 'hut' from the sides. I could not get the things I tried to throw in the 'hut' to go in, they just sat on the lips of the holes. I just wonder if this is something that is used, just game flavor, or something that is yet to be used in future missions. I expect to see more 'huts' in other places, in the rest of the missions (I just started Making Tracks).

I was stuck on where the key was to Eliu's (name?) shop in Errand Boy, so I read these boards for a clue. I had found the
Lucky Head,
and never tho't that this series would be so deep, so I considered it game flavor, and dropped it where I found it. On reading where the key was to get into Eliu's (?) shop, I read
that the Lucky Head was needed in the future, so I went and picked it up and dropped it in my room, as the reference said.
When I finished the mission, it was still on the floor. I did not have it on me, but it was where the spoiler said to put it. When I started Shore Leave, I did not have it on me, and it was not where I put it. I chalked it up to a bug, in that Errand Boy and Shore Leave/Creek are different downloads so the info from Errand did not make it to Shore Leave.
Is there a way to get the
Lucky Head back without starting over? I also lost a few items, such as fire arrows, reduced number of water arrows, etc, when I started Shore Leave. If the head was supposed to have made it, would not the other items have made it also?
Just to make note of it, from Creek to Tracks, I did have the
Golden Bonce stay on me, so the inventory crossover works. But, since the fire arrows, the less amount of water arrows, etc, were not on me, would the Lucky Head have been?
I just followed the walk thru and did the Errand again. I did all but
put the note on the keeper's desk. Then I went to the inn, picked up the Lucky Head, and then dropped off the note, and finished back at the inn room.
I started Shore, and I STILL don't have it in my inventory.
Is this how it is supposed to work?
*Edit: If I post things like this again, just reply with a 'keep looking', or it was made to work like this, etc. Hard to tell what is missed as far as clues and what is nothing more than flavor. Some of your puzzles are complex, and some of the things in your missions are not used, but seem like they would be.*
