As far as I know, that elevator is not functional.

What about frobbable two levers in sub control room and ship's wheels in the sub and on Maria Celeste? Do any of them do anything? (I didn't notice any effect, but I think it's possible that one of the levers opens the diving hatch -- I don't remember if it was ever closed).

Well, now for a stucky one in addition to one just out of curiosity...
I figured I am supposed to find the key to sub cargo compartment #5 somewhere on/near the factory graveyard. I expected to find it by frobbing the vase after reading the scroll that mentions it was lost there (kinda as if it was inside and I was hinted to look in), but it didn't work. Then I tried bringing the shovel back from the sub and using it on the vase -- which didn't seem to work at all (not as in "has no effect" but as in "just doesn't work"). Then I thought I might have to put some flowers there (to appease poor deceased cleptomaniac brother). Looking around the threads, I suppose it is the right one, but there's one problem. Looking over relatively obvious places, I don't see any pickable flowers. Stuck there.
And the curiosity one is, I found Indy's letter #1, but is there #2 or any other in Shore Leave?

I don't recall anything about the letters, I'm afraid. You are on the right track with the flowers. You need to do some climbing in the city. If you look around, you'll see some upper floor windows in some buildings have wooden ledges running around them. Get up there and go exploring. You'll find flowers in an apartment accessed from them.

Thanks. I don't have time to play right now, but know exactly what room you're talking of even from this desc :) Just thought they would be in a more obvious (i.e., on bare ground) location.

Curious where the stuff I'm missing is. I am short 600, though I didn't comb everything *too* thoroughly, and mission debriefing says I didn't pick two pockets -- no idea whose, though -- didn't see anyone carrying anything (keys not included)...
Here's the list I made while playing: (

(I don't use loader's loot list feature because I prefer to have the G/G/G breakdown :)

I've never found all the loot in this one either though I'm not the best at ferreting out the really tough stuff. I don't think any of the dedicated loot hounds ever had a go at locating it all, at least not that I can remember. It's always possible that the loot total is off, too. That has happened more than once. Sometimes there are values left on items that aren't frobbable or things "disappear" into walls or other surfaces and it's not noticed. The only way to be sure would be to get someone who's familiar with Dromed to check it all out.

I could sure use a hint as to how to use the sacrifical torso.....i've tried everything I can think of; but can't get anything to happen. Can anyone give me a push?? And is this how you get into that locked door in the basement?? (the one down the ladder?)
thanks..... :thumb:
Nightwalker on 24/4/2008 at 02:03
If you mean a locked door in the underground tunnels above the burrick caves then it's just a shortcut that's only available on Normal. It doesn't take you anywhere you can't get to by a slightly longer route on the other settings. As for the torso, there's a bin where they put sacrifices inside the pyramid structure. There's a note about it lying around somewhere. Dump it in there and then check around for an open doorway that wasn't there before.

Thank you so much, nightwalker, I thought I tried that with the torso and the bin but I didn't know to look for a door opening then. I'm off to give it a shot!!
thanks again for bailing me out....you're the best!! :thumb: :cheeky:
