How do I get into the sub? There are two guys with underwater helmets on patrolling where the sub and the sunken ship are, and I tried turning the airlock to the sub but nothing highlights. Is there supposed to be another way in to the sub?
Thanks

Ok I need more help please.
The Temple of Spring is that pyramid looking building where you go when you transport from the sub yes? I don't see any basement there. I'm looking for Brother Xii's skull and I've read the spoiler as to where to find it, but I'm not finding that specific room. with the ceiling beam

I think if you check your maps, you'll see that the Temple of Spring is in the town, before you get onto the sub. If you get up onto the roof of Lord Kavil Thumamire's warehouse and look west you'll see it. You can get in from up there or from the streets below.

Hi again Nightwalker, I appreciate your patience.
I know the Temple of Spring is in town, but I just got transported there from the sub, and after reading through these posts, I have concluded (correctly? incorrectly?) that to proceed to the next mission, I should get inside #4 hold and close the door?
I tried that but nothing happens, so I am assuming I need to do the skulls first. So I transported back to the Temple and I'm looking for the above mentioned spoiler and I'm not finding it.
I must admit this particular FM is too confusing. I absolutely loved the first one of the trickster gem mines, and planned to play them all but I'm not sure now.

As far as I can recall, the skulls wasn't really an objective. Belboz left the mission very open and with few required objectives deliberately. The ending is slightly different, depending on which difficulty setting you are playing on. I'm not sure if I recall them all but you find the key to the final cargo locker in different places and it's a different locker on each setting. Which one are you playing on?
I think you're mixing up the Temple of Spring with the Brotherhood of the Sword compound buildings. That's where the Pyramid shaped building is, I believe. The Temple of Spring is west from there, quite a ways. If you check through your maps, you should be able to see it.
Why don't you email me if you're still stuck and maybe I can help with some screenshots?
Don't let the fact that this mission is more open and less structured put you off of the rest of the missions in the series. They are more like the Gem Mines one and really well done.

I feel sure I must have played this before, but playing it now, everything seemed new to me. Shore Leave, in particular, is immense. What a great pair of missions.

Great missions indeed. Only recently finished Up Shit Creek myself, and what a well crafted classic-thief adventure it is. I really appreciated the different settings, with the exploration and tomb raiding, the storytelling and the inventive puzzle solving. Very entertaining stuff. Great work, belboz :thumb:

Shore Leave - I've started this one twice now and am totally baffled. I have found the Mariah Celeste and the secret compartment and stowed aboard but I'm sure that is not right. I have found three golden skulls and a rather bizarre builders' temple but still have my original objectives which I'm sure should have changed by now (just a feeling).
Any thoughts???

Shore Leave is a rather "open concept" mission. Did you figure out what to do with the skulls you found? You need one more, by the way, as well, so if you tell me which ones you've got I'll give you a hint where to look or you could do a search, because I've posted it quite a few times.
Once you stowaway on the boat there should be a section where you fall asleep and then you wake up and the boat has broken up. You need to get out, get onto the submarine, find out which cargo locker you need to stowaway in (it changes with difficulty level), find the key, go back, let yourself into the locker and the mission ends. THEN the objective ticks off. :)

Thanx NW. So are the skulls just an optional part that you do not need to complete to finish the mission? I have found the last skull and presume you have to put it on the graves. But it also mentions a sword. And what about the flowers? Leave it with me, maybe the fog will start to clear eventually.
