need help,i'm in part 2 in the upside down river,i can't seem to go to the side where a hole is, because the strong current in the water won't let me

When you enter the lower part of the river stick to the left as the river takes you up start moving towards the hole in the wall , there is a speed potion in the Hammerite armory that can help you further.
On a side note does anyone know what happened to Belboz and if he had the intention to finish this campaign?

No idea what happened to him. But I know the last post I saw said his dromed wouldn't even boot up anymore. He said he might finish when dark mod came out. But that didn't happen either unfortunately. I would say it probably never will be finished.
I love the missions though and still play the campaign every so often.
