I seem to be missing the air key..
I've got three plaques where they belong, just to give a pointer as to where I've been and what I've done so far
Looks like I'm the only one that's missing this part, as I haven't found any other posting regarding missing air keys :weird: I assume you're placed the mountain key it's into place. Once that's done, move the crates blocking a entrance. Go through it and walk down the stairs, across the small lava of river in the building is the air key. IIRC you go to the air temple to place the mountain key.

Near the end of the second mission on expert.
While going around knocking out the four for the second time, I fixed the prisms and then wandered outside. I noticed that a portal to the palace of displacement opened up, so I went through. I saw "the gambler" before he saw me, so I knocked him out, and then instinctively quick saved. The problem is, I haven't yet charged the crystals and I can't seem to be able to go back. My last regular save is hours ago.
Please tell me I don't have to do everything all over again! :(

Ok, I went way back to an earlier save and finished it. Pretty cool set of missions. Too bad all that running around doesn't count as real exercise. :cheeky: BTW, at the very end
is there a way to get across that chasm that ends the mission? I tried with a speed potion a couple of times but wasn't able to do it.
Fantastic Mission!
The "KO the four again" objective never ticked off for me though, so i gave up retrying, finished the mission without it and died after falling into the shaft at the end =/

Hmmm there is certainly a lot to do in this dark abandoned place and I really love it for the facts that it is very dark and mysterious and much like the atmosphere you get in a Thief Gold mission which is what I like best and actually the only kind of fm's I like and it's to bad there still scarce. Is there a real lot to do in all of your missions? I have played your fm "Errand boy" awhile ago and I don't remember what it was about but I think I remember also doing a real lot of things before finishing it in that one too.
Well I have been really trying to finish this mission earlier today with absolutely no help and I have powered all the temples with there keys but now I'm really lost trying to find where I place any of these plaques I got from the Archiach temple or something to open the palace.

To stop dying at the end, as soon as the explosions start, don't touch the keys on your keyboard, it kind of runs on automatic from there on until the end.
Its rigged so that you fall down the icy slope which gives you enough speed to get over the hole, if you try and stop it, it wont work.
the extra ko the four on expert is optional, as sometimes it doesn't work.
the teleport home is one way, as the place in the future you visited, no longer exists once you step through the teleport.
If you forget to pickup the recharged crystals, then its your own fault, as thats the main quest of the mission.

The first time I did it, I didn't touch the keys; I fell down, slid across the ice, jumped the chasm, kept on sliding along the ice past the chasm -- and abruptly died for no explainable reason.
So the next time, I put the brakes on hard and skidded to a halt before the abyss. I taffed around, then finally found something that worked: I stood back near the curvey sloped part, gulped a speed potion, and ran and jumped at the last second; I kept the jump button (spacebar for me) down, and I caught the far side and mantled up. Then the mission ended... with me still alive.
(Maybe another way would be to slam on the brakes just as you slide across the chasm in the initial fall; maybe you'd have a better chance of survival then. Lemmie try.... Hm, interesting: this time, I did nothing and had no problem; I didn't die. I also tried it again slamming on the brakes after jumping the shark, er, the abyss, and I was fine then, too. I don't know why I died the first time; maybe just bad luck, hitting the ceiling or somesuch? Or a weird version of GSDS?)
In any event, it is possible to jump it yourself; and it's also possible to die when you do nothing and keep your hands off the keyboard.

I think this portal maybe broken for me:
I have now gotten to where I touch the stars onto platforms to open the portal to the Metamorphis Temple but when I go into the portal I just fall to the bottom of the stary hole and don't teleport to it. So is there something else I have to do or is this unfortunetly a bug I got so I will have to start this level all over again? I really feel that I have done everything I need to do in part 1 so I am really stumpted here.
