Where specifically is this spider temple? And how do I get in? Not from above, I suspect?!

if youve been around the screenie belobz posted, then the hammerite compund isnt far, just search some of the tunnels by the side, there are 3
one is the way you came, one leads to a mine shaft and one leads to the hammerite compound. :)
the spider temple is on the other side of the compund through a a tunnel.
a tip for getting around the hammerite compound:
[spoiler] use rope arrows to avoid zombies better [/spoiler] :)

I am at the place where I am supposed to put the earth plague (room at end of bridge and star door at bottom of lava at the other side). I have the earth "key "but it isn't working. Can somebody tell me what i'm missing?

Sir Lance, the Earth Key and the Earth Plaque are not the same thing, you will notget the earth plaque until youve placed the earth key

sir lance [SPOILER]you put mountain peaks in up stairs, then go down stairs across from boxes, put the earth key in the spot in between the alcoves, and that star door at base of next stairs is opened by a switch by ceiling by the boxes you moved out of the way, once you place the earth key you'll get the missing air key. from across the lava[/SPOILER]

Thanks for all the help taffers! I found out my problem playing this game: It wasn't dark enough in my room. Problem: my family had to sit in the dark, just so I could play the game right! Quit an offer for them .......... but I'm happy, happy, happy, oh so happy!... and so they all humoured me! :ebil:
I found "my entrance" to a next step into the game now and a whole new world opened up for me.
Belboz: Your a genius X 1.000.000.000 times, but PLEASE: don't ever give me such a freaking moment as when I [SPOILER]entered the burrick stables and got looking out for a guard, which I heard ........... just to find out that it was THIS SPIDER just in front of me. It freaked the hell out of me ![/SPOILER] :laff: :thumb:
This is some freaking excellent game! A lot of humorous moments and quite a lot of phylisofical readings too. I memorized some of them ...... :thumb:
I'll get into the game tomorrow again ........... :sly:

I'm hopelessly stuck. First mission ... where is the master light switch? I'm not sure that is the solution to my problem but I'm willing to have a go at it. I don't seem to be able to get into areas that other's have gotten into. I have been into the mine offices shown in Belboz's screen shot, been to the lab, and the storage area, and to where the water plaque goes but I don't have the water plaque just the water key and I don't know where to put it. :laff:
Come to think of it I never got the fire temple door opened either.
Please help.

the main light switch is in the spider temple, RIGHT as you get inside look by the door frame
Water Key: [SPOILER]go out of the compund back to the watery areas, go to the tunnel by the one leading to the hammerite compound, youll see a big wooden shaft, rope up and youll find the where to put the water key[/SPOILER]
as for the fire key, do you have it? if not which door are you talking about?

sheesh- it's been ages since I read a post from you Belboz! (I was afraid something had happened to you IRL, or even scarier, that you might have lost interest in thief) Your missions always kick ass, I can't wait to download this. THANKS for continuing to make fun missions
