I can't see anything wrong in the file, where did people who have this error get the mission from. I'm wondering if someone may have re-edited it to put the bug in.
This line of thought is due to the amount of viruses that look as thou they are comming from ttlg.com and are being sent to me, and probably others as well.

I can say with certainty that the copy on thiefmissions.com came directly from your site. If you can do md5sum from your OS, here are the sums:

Thank you belboz for this great campaign - it´s really huge!!
Some questions from my side:
Has anyone accomplished the Bonus objective in Mission 1?
If yes, please give me hint how to do it...
Another thing is that I am missing 440 gold - who has gotten all of it? What did I miss?

I'm really thinking I may just have gotten a bad DL. I skipped ahead to the next mission, and it seems to be having problems too. From what I have read in this thread at a certain point Garrett is supposed to say "I'm tired" and if you go back to the guest room you start day 2? Well, I can't seem to get that to happen. I believe I have done everything I was supposed to do, but no next day. I'm guessing I will just have to delete my copy and try getting the file again. Which I WILL do, because I was having a lot of fun with these missions until the problems started popping up.

People seem to say "I got a bad download" far too often. If the zipfile is corrupted, it won't pass an integrity check. It should be easy for you to just run winzip on the file and see if it's OK.

HELP! Like several other people, I'm stuck on Day 2 of the second mission...
I've got into Bafford's castle and found the pin of humanity and the air prism. I've also got the four crystals, still unpowered. But I guess I need to find the other three prisms -- and I THINK I've looked everywhere! At my current level of frustration I need not so much a hint as a guided tour to where I can find them...!
:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Fantastic mission, belboz -- creepy, :weird: surreal, and :cheeky: technically brilliant. How do you do it?
LATER: OK, problem solved (I think) -- either I didn't get the message that Garrett was sleepy, or (more likely) I missed it. On to Day 3...!

thorgrim which level of difficulty on normal there is one prism, on expert there are four, hard i think had three, all prisms are in baffords castle in same room with pin, each table has one, one pin, one prism of each type on expert,
normal only has one prism and one pin.
if you look on page 5 of this thread i have listed what needs be done,
make sure on normal you kill the 4 who have power crystals, on hard and expert make sure they are ko'd and objective has ticked,
make sure you have the prisms number different on difficulty your on, the displacement pin, 4 power cyrstals and either ko'd or killed as objective states, once all of this done day 2 should be done except you'd get message i'm getting sleepy

I've checked all the files that were uploaded and they check out ok. So it must be some strange bug in thief.
I can't workout why some people are getting the fire plaque out of kilter, as the fire plaque you are holding gets teleported to a blue room when used on the plate then a dummy fire plaque is teleported to a teleport trap in front of the plate. But as one switch linked to the plate via a receptron is all that controls what the fire plaque does and you can't use the wrong plaque on the wrong plate as the numbers are all different. And I've checked all the numbers. I don't know how to fix the bug.
Bonus for mission 1, if you are refering to errand boy, then it has something to do with the rocks in eluens shop and the instructions on what you should do with them are written in a book, somewhere in the mission.

Hello belboz - I am honored to meet you :)
Sorry, but actually I meant the first mission of Trickster´s Rift. In the file in which the goals are listed, there´s one goal about destroying the spider´s gate. How can one do that?

Thanks for the help - finally managed to suss it myself (as usual, and like a lot of others, just after calling desperately for help!) before coming back to find your post.
Yes, I was playing on Normal --
so only one prism to find -- I thought I needed three more! Also missed the clues that Day 2 was 'over'.
Never mind -- on to the next...!
