On Day 1,
look in the upper level storeroom in the Nexus for a crystal power plaque. Go back out through the airlock, through the cave and turn left down the corridor. There are a bunch of blocks in the wall at the end that you can remove. There's a door there that you can open with the plaque.
Have you been in this area yet?
Posting more details about what you've done and where you think you may need to go would make it easier to know what information to give you.
I'm stuck at this stage, I've found the area after the
removable wall but I can't find anything frobbable I can use the
plaque on, like the grey indentation that looks like it houses the
plaque. :erg:

The frob is invisible, just use the plaque on the square slot next to the door.

I'm playing mission 2 on easiest difficulty level. It's day 2 and I have to find four power crystals. Three of them I've already found (Air, Earth, Fire), but Lord Phyfer's crystal (Water, I assume) seems nowhere to be found.
Phyfer's diary shows that he planned to give his crystal to the "lab people", so I tried to enter the various labs that can be seen on the map. However, I found no way into a single lab. I did not find the crystal within Phyfer's two rooms as well.
Can anyone tell me how and where I may find the last crystal?

I may be wrong but I think Lord Phyfer's crystal is Fire so you may already have it.
The water crystal is found in Snider Theme's rooms (entered from the vent pipes) and it's under the bed.

frobbing the wrong bed all the time...
Thank you, once again.

I read where the secret for the first part of this mission is on the "roof at the lower entrance". But I can't find it. Could someone give me a more detailed location.
Also, I was quite disappointed to find out of 9604, I only found 8234 in loot. Thats 1370 loot missing !! That's unacceptable. I must have missed an entire section somewhere, though I've accomplished all the objectives and can carry on the the next level if I wanted.
The entrance to the last part, the palace section, when you go down the long slope from the old mine offices to the cave at the bottom, in the cave at the bottom one way goes to a pool of lava the other goes to the lower entrance to the palace, its on that roof that something odd died.
There's a couple of crates there that will help you get up.
I was on the wrong roof. I didn't take you literally when you said "lower entrance". When I studied the maps, I realized where I went wrong.
Odd indeed. I was afraid to go near it. But the reward was meager when compared to what I haven't found yet in loot. There must be some singular place that I missed that has a lot of riches. I've retraced my steps a few times without finding a secluded storage room or something. The only thing I remember is right at the beginning where you cascade down the waterfall and encounter a ledge but are swept away before reaching it. Was there anything there?

Well, I've moved onto the next section, but would still like to know where the loot is.
Day 1
I've reached an impasse here pretty early on. Apparently I have to get by the spiderbot in order to de-activate the turrets. Nothing in my inventory will engage the star door. I do have a "special plaque", but that doesn't work. What opens this door?
belboz on 20/11/2005 at 03:49
You should have got a keycard off someone just beyond the turret room, leads you somewhere, and there there's a storage area with whats needed.
In the first part did you find the bow upgrade storage bolt hole beneath the golden burrick.
