I went back to the golden burrick in the air room...I didn't find anything there other than what I picked up as loot when I first entered.
There are 2 storage areas, one with crates (main floor) and one with all the plaques and displacement pins (second floor). None of these items in the second floor storage room will open the star door. However, the one plaque opened access to the room with the spider bot.

Well, I never thought to try using one of the stars on the star door.....duhhhhh.

I don't know where all the loot is, as it was scattered around during the build, and I can't remember all the locations.
If you use arrows of the opposite effect on something in the spider temple you get a loot reward, as well as distroying the portal. Thats the temple on the other side of the rift, away from the rest of the area.

Thanks for the help, and the fm, belboz. Must say I had a hard time understanding your? voice-over in the dialogues. But then again, I need to play subtitles when I watch Absolutely Fabulous as well.

Oh Belboz, good luck! I have been working on a fan mission myself but nothing as swish as yours...but everything is on hold while I work on my final year project (SOAP access to databases) and other computer-related geek stuff...on top of being a lone parent and having other assorted non-thief related stuff in life. I'll be so glad when Christmas rolls around and I can just relax and PLAY games!!!

I need to enter the palace of displacement. I have a fire key, but I don't have the key of red flame. I think that may be my trouble. I also can't find the [SPOILER]removeable blocks.[/SPOILER]

[SPOILER]look in the upper level storeroom in the Nexus for a crystal power plaque. Go back out through the airlock, through the cave and turn left down the corridor. There are a bunch of blocks in the wall at the end that you can remove. There's a door there that you can open with the plaque.[/SPOILER]
By "nexus" does she mean "mine offices? I haven't been able to find this [SPOILER]crystal power plaque[/SPOILER] or the [SPOILER]removeable blocks. What does she mean by an "air locks"? i don't remember an air lock.[/SPOILER]

A nexus is point where things meet or centralize; matrix is another word for it. You're definitely looking for a power system.
