Okay, either I'm having horrible luck, or I'm missing something. Day 1, Insertion: At the very beginning.
Crawled up outside to get into the ventilation shaft (I'm assuming?). Exit into a large room with cameras and loads of turrets. Can't seem to get anywhere without being shot to death by the turrets. Am I missing something, or do I just run like blazes while getting shot at to get out of this area, so I can start this mission?
It can be done , just keep to the walls , watch the cameras , then run like hell . :laff:
ShadowWolf421 on 18/5/2004 at 03:26
ok im stuck, i got the earth and air prisms, the displacement key of humanity , i got the 4 power crystals
i did not hoewver go see the comander, how did you do that wild_inferno9?
i also encountered a bug:
i knocked out Themes, Goller, that lady with the really long S name, and Phyler but the objective doesnt tick off, am i knocking out the right ones? :(
Shaz:
yes run like hell now to where you see a noble standing, this will trigger a convo and you can go from there, after you go to where he tells you and get something out of a storage room, youll find a way to turn off the turrents
if you need more help pm me, ill prbly be on a while
Shadows:
i never found a commander level access card so dont worry, have you met up with I. Jones again?
if not thats your problem you need to:
use the plaque on one of the things by a star door. if you find the right one, you can go left and right, the left fork will bring you to a dead end with a combat bot with its back to you. theres nothing here so dont waste your arrows, go right but be careful theres a patrolling combat bot ahead. one of these rooms has I Jones in it, after you get done with him get the scroll. then Garrett will say hes tired and needs rest, then head back to the guest room
lightning sorry bout that, but i thought of when i first seen it, if you ever been in a real mine, they used to be wooden elvators supported by wooden beams, but this place sorta had some earthquakes lol.
this next bit is help for those stuck in mission 2:
shadows: you must go back out to where ou found the noble who gave you the key card, and look at those doors, also past the light heading north for another area.
shaz: best way i found was crawl around till i was about at the metal beam jump down to it then stairs and run like heck to the noble, and not the dead guy. lol
shadowwolf: he's accessable off the vent system in biodome 1, he looks like a keeper.
also read this shadow wolf dont knock them out kill them. then after you get the prisms, the pin, and do above you should get a message go back to bed.
this is for all in mission 2: if its circle plate beside a star door, try the stars you have
ShadowWolf421 on 18/5/2004 at 03:59
oh the keeper guy, i been to see him lol
ok ill do that, i thought id have to do that
wild_inferno9
what difficulty are you playing on?
when i do what you said, my objective fails
dont kill anything human
wild_inferno9 on 18/5/2004 at 04:49
oops ya normal you can kill lol, on hard and expert, gas arrows or gas mines work best, unless they dont see ya comin before you BJ them, the objectives work fine, i just went in and tried all three levels too make sure. i used gas arrows on expert, broadhead on easy, and gas mines on hard except for the thief then i gas arrowed him lol.
ShadowWolf421 on 18/5/2004 at 04:56
so you didnt just blackjack em? ill try this, hopefullly i can just set off a few gas mines and wont have to reload i shall post my findings

These missions were not meant to be easy.
for the first part
all but the air key can be found in the four temples area.
the plaques to open the displacement temple appear in the spider temple.
the proctor weapons are optional, and they weren't supposed to be easy to find. except for the fire one.
did anyone find the reference to the bow upgrade
who shot at the first spider statue
you should check your maps for places you can't find
you can't pick up the golden burrick
the missing secret is on the roof of the lower entrance
if you ended up in the water at the end of the mine mission, you forgot to read a book or a scroll.
You need the twin stars in part two, so they don't stick to the holes in the mine mission.
for the second part
You can't get the commanders card
A lot of those frob inert doors and key slots don't go anywhere
knocking out the four should work as I checked it before uploading it.
Garrett will tell you he is feeling sleepy so you know when a day is over.
Guards on the first day will not attack you. There are plenty of moss arrows.
There isn't much info for the second mission, as there are only about 200 people left in the world.
You meet I. Jones not Zith, Zith isn't in this campaign
Days are completed by doing things and collecting things.
Day 2 is exploration day, maybe you should explore all the areas you can get to, like the remains of baron bafford's castle. Lock picks are usefull for unlocking things you dont have keys for, except for the slots that need cards.
The scroll I. Jones drops gives some hints.
'ttgm:Chasm of the lost' should be released next sunday

ok i tried just to shoot gas arrows at em after i blackjacked em but that didnt work, so luckily i had a save right b4 i went to that part of the mission, this time i made doubly sure that they didnt see me, and it worked :) i think one of em went "what was that?" so i guess 1st alert is ok. but you cant let em go on 2nd.
i shut the door behind me (right when it was saying 3rd day:escape:) and now it will not open, is it supposed to do this is there another way out (im in guest room 3)
if not ill just reload from an ealier save tomorrow as im more than 7/8 asleep this time
i like this mission tho, its loads of fun and very challenging :)

Thanks for letting me know the 'run like hell' option was the valid one. "Never blow your cover" is just too ingrained in me, I always look for other options. Once I got past that though it was smooth sailing!
Wonderful missions belboz, thank you!
