Added Timo Mass - To Get Down.
I'm really liking the radio on this too. Between this and Last FM what more could you want?
It still has quite a limited library compared to say, Oink.cd or Waffles/What. Spotify also needs to vastly improve itself so that people find meaningful nusic for themselves easier.

I'd like it if I knew who put what on the playlist so instead of going "Hey guys, song X is great, who put that on and what else do they like?" and waiting for a reply I could just PM them direct.
Better yet an in-program PM system/friends list would be nice.
Edit: Perfect example - who put in The Blacksmith by Planxty? I'd never look for this kind of stuff but God damn it's so refreshing. At 4.09 when the drums start (the outro) - love it.

Limited?
It's got Anti Nowhere League on it!!
But no Big Black.
And you can sort by genre and as Subj says the radio is pretty cool

I was wondering why this isn't available in the US so I googled around. It seems the blood sucking US record industry doesn't like the free model we have over here. Wtf is wrong with them? There are enough ads on it, no? And I've clicked on a fair few ads!
Anyways, awaiting 3G card and then this is a buy fo sho'!

Well there are similar services in the US, like (
http://www.lala.com/) lala.com Don't know how good it is tho.
edit: ALSO I have gone ahead and removed collaborative-mode from (
http://open.spotify.com/user/leemajorz/playlist/5mKelapsFKq4u4xempDoIB) our first playlist. Which is a sure-fire way of keeping the troll out. Sadly, however, it is also a sure-fire way of keeping everyone else out. I can keep on updating it with songs from our latest (secret) playlist but I am not sure if it will update for everyone else. I have added a Sinatra song to the very end of the list, does anyone else see it? Or is the Time Maas track the last one?
SubJeff on 17/1/2010 at 15:17
I don't keep it in order of when they were added and I can't see a Sinatra track anyway.
SubJeff on 17/1/2010 at 17:14
Wow. 93 tracks an 7 hours worth of music.

I am listening to a dark ambient group named Dahlia's Tear. They are on the Cold Meat label, which is to dark ambient what Death Row is to hip hop.
your theory is SHATTERED

Ahh. Dethtoll, do you always have to say dark ambient. It makes ambient music, already an insular and nerdy genre, sound even dorkier. Maybe you just want to make sure that everyone knows you aren't listening to new age but I don't think anybody cares.

ugh don't even START that panties-in-a-twist-over-musical-subgenres horseshit, I am NOT up to it today
