Well it looks like fett, his wife, myself and leatherman will be hanging around on FriDAY, demagogue is coming in that day as well, we'll coordinate something. Do the site seeing tourdaforce on Friday. Dinner later that night with raen, and possibly Duncan. This should be good, looking forward to meeting fett and his wife, seeing demagogue again, and raen! :)

I should make a post about this (already PM'd BA, but probably best to post it here too).
I don't have my own car, so I have to be dropped off & picked up to get to Dallas. Getting dropped off isn't a problem, but it's possible that the person dropping me off has another engagement to go to so won't be able to pick me up Friday night (I was told it may be "too far too late"), but they could do it at any time on Saturday. (This isn't entirely set in stone yet; so I might be able to get picked up, but just in case I should try to figure out my options just in case I can't.)
So the three options I could think of were: (1) stay somewhere in Dallas Friday night to get picked up Saturday morning (2) stay out until dawn somewhere or (3) get a ride by someone in Dallas back to Ft Worth (maybe ~45m drive). None of them are very appealing and are an imposition, which I don't want to be!, but I feel like I should ask if anyone has any ideas on this in case it turns out I can't be picked up but still be able to meet up with everyone. Or maybe it'll just be too complicated, which I wouldn't mind at all as it's just part of what sucks about not having a car in Texas. (Or it turns out I can get picked up Friday night, then all the better.) But I should ask just to know my options. Sorry for the complication. :)

We'll figure something out, I will need to figure out what to do with my daughter. She'll be at school, at a dance/halloween party, it ends at 7:30.

Another thing for the record, the Rangers are in the World Series, and if it goes to the 7th Game that's Friday too. It might be nice to be at a place that has it on in the background (well I like following it anyway); and if they win Dallas will go crazy! But we'll see what happens tomorrow (Game 6) and maybe it doesn't even go to game 7 if they win that.
Also: I have the Beatles song "We Can Work It Out" in my head now. Thank you, all.

Game 6 tonight for Rangers was a wash out due to rain, it will be tomorrow night, that will push back game 7, I think, we'll findout. I just saw that on the news.

Spent the day with BA and Leatherman checking out Broken Arts Studio, Dallas Art Musuem, and zombie offspring. The four of us plus Raen/Sledge and wife & Duncan/DeC for Tex Mex. Great to finally meet some of the other T2Xers face to face. Pics tomorrow!
