So glad this meeting happened. When meeting people, even though you've talked for years, been around for years, all shared experiences on the forum together for years. Meeting face to face, which I'm sure a lot of you are like WTF is this going to be like? I do that with every meeting, I think we all do. I need not worry, though I think fett worried and asked me if I was a serial killer, you'd think I'd tell him? I'd show him. :p:ebil:
Anyway, the meeting was a success, glad it happened, I'm doing it again, YOU HEAR THAT. Yes, and tocky my boy, you better be there. Its worth the effort, worth the trip, I'll drive next time, I don't care, where ever. We met Dave and his wife at their hotel, he hugs me, and I think I lost 2 inches as he towered over me, and swallowed me whole. I call him my brother, he's my baby brother, I never had one, so I've adopted him. Hell he called me a den mother, I'll remember that fett.
We went to where Leatherman and I work, and I appreciate the kind words fett, I just do what I do, its weird to talk about, people just look at you like WHA?? It was fun to show them some stuff.
After wards we went to the DMA, (Dallas Museum of Art) It was close by, I know we didn't feel like driving a whole lot, easy to do in Texas. Short window of time, I figured lets not spend it driving. I got us all in for free, using my spiffy new membership to the museum, it really was fun. Here is one picture we like to call the dromed room. haha. Its some exhibit, that was WTH, with this stuff all over the walls, and 6 hanging light bulbs. ok.....yeah. Leatherman has an orb on his chest, hmm, it is halloween.

We had lunch there, and sat around and talked and talked, it was just nice to chill out, relax and just talk, we met my daughter after school to pick up her back pack. Another zombie image, this one is slightly closer, more detail OHHH, bloody detail.

Tocky, I started Emma on it, she after awhile took it upon herself to learn it. I do help her, she loves it, I've corrupted her, and she's learned how to do it. Its liquid latex, we bought it at a costume shop, and tissue, you build up layers. It conforms to your face, and you paint over it, red, black, purple, green, what ever color. Water based stage makeup is used. Its better than the grease crap you buy in the store. For her first effort, she did a fantastic job. She got up earlier, and did that before school.
Dinner was great, cozy, drinks, laughing, and more talking, we could of done this all weekend, maybe next time we will. We need more time. Its so worth the effort to do this. I'm hoping there will be more meetings, I'll drive, I don't care, we need more time. fett and his wife are great, easy to talk to, yeah we talked about you lot. :) And so much more, the conversation was free flowing, I want more! That picture we all have glowing vampire eyes, freaks me out a bit.
First time I've seen raen in awhile, he's all mister big shot now. ;) We talked about getting together, I hope we do. Thanks for allowing us to join, Leatherman and I had a great time with you all.
Next time demagogue we have to make it work out, you were missed.
