I thought about it, but at the same time, I've been a huge Mangini fan for 15 years. Seeing them live the other night made it patently obvious that Portnoy had become a huge albatross for the band. They were actually having fun, interacting with one another, the playing was tighter. I think Portnoy had become a major prick - taking shots at LaBrie in interviews, etc. - and they were feeling pretty oppressed by him trying to turn them into a METUL band. I wouldn't have said that until I saw them live, but the sense of freedom and relief was palpable.

Tocky, I'm going to call you out, and say you're just shy, that's why you never show to any meets. You've wanted to come to a meet, but you never do. You are missing out man, you need not be shy, be worried, have a drink, and some food, all will be well with the world. ;)
