Anyone who finished in 4 hours definitely did not play the game the way it's meant to be played. In short, they're doing it wrong.

Maybe in that case, but my next run will be a fast acrobatics (blink + slow time) and violent murder speedrun and god forbid if it ain't one of the "ways it's meant to be played". I expect to finish under 5 hours. My first stealth run clocked around 18 hours and, although I got most ghost + no kill bonuses I am far, far away from the maximum loot total (something like 30-50% of the total for each level). So a completionist run would probably last around 20-25 hours. Crazy game.

Very heavily inspired by Thief and Deus Ex, which is obvious. Losing all your gear and coming back to your home base which used to be friendly but is now enemy territory was like, hello Liberty HQ.

Well, this is off to a good start. Opening levels are both fun to play and do a good job of getting you invested in the plot.
Do guards immediately die if their heads get submerged under water? At one point in the first mission I knocked a guy out and he fell over with his upper body hanging into the water. I pulled him back up within seconds and left him on the ground but at the end of the mission I had 1 kill listed. Can't imagine what else it could've been except for that guy who landed in the water. :erg:

Hey, I'm all for an occasional speed run, but the first time though, that seems like a such a waste on a game with so much detail and optional places to explore, not to mention optional objectives. Kids these days!

Just noticed that I can assign weapons-powers to the Dpad, and that there is a quicksave function. And also I can quit the game right from the in-game menu, WITHOUT having to go via the Main Menu. This game just does everything right doesn't it.
Also does everyone in this game have a fantastic fashion sense or what? Great getups all around.

Yeah, I thought it was hilarious that one of the
Pendelton twins was in the
steam room with his full victorian regalia on.
The steam room? Mine were in the smoking and silver rooms. Sweet randomisation?
