Since the other thread's about beers worth drinking let's have one about actually drinking them. It appears that we haven't had a TTLG-wide meetup in a while, might be time. So how about we get something going down in London, say, second part of October or sometime in November so everyone's got time to clear their schedule? Sure, the weather's going to be crap, but since none of us had the inspiration to do this in summer we kinda had it coming. Not that this last summer was all sunshine, at least not in England.
Anyhow, we could go raid some of the nice pubs in central London, Covent Garden, Leicester Square or whatever. Of if people want something else, I'll repeat my recommendation for this (
http://www.czechoslovak-restaurant.co.uk/) czechoslovak (sic) pub at West Hampstead, not as fancy but nice atmosphere, great drinks and prices. Not that we have to stick to just
one pub, mind.
So let's start taking down who's interested and your suggestions for when and where.

Sorry I can't come to this. They tell me all the underground bullet trains from all the old colonial capitals to London were taken out (filled in?) by angry mobs in the decolonization period, or I'd totally be there.

Viv - yeah, it must've been once. Apparently the pub's been kicking around in that location since right after WWII, there's a history blurb on their website.

So, yeah, I got the impression there'd be more takers from the beer thread, come on people, makes yourselves heard. As much as a three-person meetup would be easier to put together, it wouldn't allows us to be rowdy enough.
