I didn't find a map of the maze. I found the book and from reading it I assumed I had a map, but there is none in my inventory and it doesn't appear in the map. I did find directions doing a search, but am I supposed to have a copy of the map?:(

If you found a book [SPOILER]in the secret space behind the bookcase in Wilikins' room[/SPOILER] then you have found the right book. The maze should be added a the last page of your map after you read the book.
(You do know that when you bring the map up with 'm' that there can be more than one page don't you (arrows at the bottom left and right of the screen). Sorry if that sounds patronising but I have talked to some people who never realised that you could turn the pages of some books).
If you have done all that then I don't know what's wrong, I've never had anyone report a bug like that before.

Have now finished TTT. First time through on easy I really didn't enjoy it at all. Second time through on expert, I loved it. Great FM.

Thiefs_Pawn, thanks so much for clueing me in. I knew about turning book pages, but I can't believe I've played Thief for so long and didn't see the arrow on the map page. The map needed for each section always seemed to be showing, so I never thought about it before. I wonder why the maze did not display while I was in it. I even checked the map for arrows or turned edges on it and missed the arrow below.
I've cleaned out the zombies in the tomb and am now trying to solve the puzzle of the last item I need.

I just finished this old mission. I gotta say I really liked the mansion layout but the objectives on expert were quite misleading. I purposely played on normal because I thought "who the hell wants to get into a mansion just for killing someone?! Garrett is a thief, of course he would steal everything he can especially from a vault!". Also the forced ghosting put me off. After finishing it on normal I checked the walkthrough and saw that pretty much all the other objectives are being cancelled out on expert when you reach the vault. Would have been good to know that beforehand. Oh well, I´m just going to replay it on expert then ;)

You are right, Ive just played it on expert and it was really good! :D On normal the whole plot didn´t make any sense. Imo the author should have kept the plot for normal + hard + expert the same and just reduce the guards, loot, etc. On normal most of the readables make no sense (like the special treatment for garrett) and you just put the wrong guy down in the vault believing its lord bifford :rolleyes: All in all this was a real fun mission! :)
