Your project is looking great, I wish you the best of luck with it. Was it originally a UT3 mod? I'd imagine that the free UDK was best thing to ever happen to indie developers/mods like yourselves. UT3 flopped badly and few people likely would've played all of the quality mods made for it like Angels Fall First, The Haunted, Prometheus, The Ball, etc.
I recall buying a 2nd hand copy of Far Cry 1 off of Ebay but being disappointed to find that there was a Tactical Ops: Assault on Terror retail disc in the case. I had a replacement copy sent by the seller.

Dethtoll, what were you expecting? Tactical Ops 1 was pretty much the UT99 equivalent of CS.

Oh, NOW I remember that one. Never played it, but heard it wasn't even as good as CS.

It's a matter of taste. Some people like TO more than CS because you got more freedom and speed, other people like CS more.
First it was a UT3 mod. The playerbase will be much bigger since it's going to be a free and standalone game :)

TO be fair, I really don't like CS. I much prefer the slower, more tactical games like SWAT 3 and 4, and Rainbow Six.

i played 100000 of hours with a friend on rapidwaters. we had a server in the office of his mother, the first server we ever installed and opened for the public, it may not have been a better game than CS but it was just the one we played first and stayed on the longest after ending our quake/wolfenstein et addiction. I tried the ut2004 mod as well but I just couldn't find into it any more.

CS was fun for a years but I got bored of getting banned from servers for using grenades to suicide bomb when I was low on health in CSS. And it bothered me on a nerd level that the CTs were various special forces groups without even a common uniform or equipment loadout.
