Why is your OP utterly contentless? Lay down some opinion on the links.

From this point forth, I'm going to just start randomly three-day-banning people who don't offer anything more than a link and smilies to start a thread. In fact, I think we'd all be happy if we expected, oh I dunno, some commentary or opinion or anything at all to imply that someone's doing more than just ctrl-c / ctrl-v on some random site they were gawping at. And this goes for news articles or "I thought this would be a good thing to discuss" links that are unaccompanied by any sort of effort.
Don't think that just because you're a moderator that you're above the accepted forum guidelines.

Great April Fools joke Eva!
Edit: my favourite comment from the articles so far:
Quote:
I don't like it. As an old-school adventurer, these fancy VGA graphics just look like style over substance. And what happened to the good old parser? More dumbed down adventure bullshit for the sheeple. What happened to the Lucasarts that made great games like Night Shift and Zak McKracken?
Fail.

And while you're there, Quintin's article on "The 5 a.m." for Action Half-Life is a really excellent read, even if (like me) you never played Action Half-Life. That's an Easter article rather than an April Fools article, but it's kinda retro as well.

Does anyone know where you can buy Day of the Tentacle? I've heard its available on Steam but I couldn't find it. I checked GoG too.

It's not on Steam yet. Your best bet for right now is eBay. However, if you're patient, I would just wait; I bet it'll be on Steam before too long.
I recently finished Sam and Max Hit the Road for the first time and it was truly delightful, though I didn't care for the obscure picture commands. Day of the Tentacle is also a favorite. It was funny to hear the same character voices and notice some similar character designs between the two games. The Snucky's clerk from Sam and Max, for example, was just Bernard Bernoulli with a mustache.
