Sorry about the late editing, but this thread was a grave mistake.
Nothing to see here.

Oh god :( Hopefully the treatments do their magic and you'll get all well and healthy again.

Well... I already read about this on that other place not too long ago... I didn't know what to say then and I still have no idea. Reading stuff like this always brings back some unhappy memories and makes me feel a bit sad and paranoid. But I still keep thinking of you every time I see your name pop up somewhere and hope that everything's going alright for you.
I probably can't even imagine what you're going through at the moment, but I hope that you'll stay positive - yes, it's a bit of a cliché, but I'm sure that you'll be fine again soon enough... or at least I truly hope so! Surely the doctors wouldn't be lying straight to your face if the chances of full recovery really weren't that good.
So... um... I wish you speedy recovery and all the best! :)

My thoughts and (for what it's worth) prayers are with you, Lytha. I hope you've got the support from friends and family that is so necessary.
And may I just say one thing? Fuck cancer. Fuck it to hell.

There's still 21 sessions of radiation and 4 more chemo sessions upcoming.
That sounds truly dreadful :erg:. I really hope that once you've been through this then it will be gone for good.

I've read about Alpha radiation being more effective in some cases (prostate cancers and spread to bone cancers) and require less sessions about 3.
Yes, of course good luck to you.

I'm very sorry to hear that, Lytha. My dad is going through something similar at the moment (fourth time) so I can appreciate some of what is going on. You have my very sincere wishes that the treatment programme is successful at shoving the bloody thing into remission.

That does not sound pleasant at all. Hope you get well Lytha.
