Then by all means, enlighten me. :)
I thought I'd written a fairly good summary. Where did I go wrong?
If you like, I can edit it.
I don't actually have a strong concept of a troll, I just go by feeling. So, how would you define a troll?
BTW I didn't mean to give the impression that I thought you didn't expect someone to defend Komag. I fully thought you expected my response, which is why I put in the last line, to let you know that I did have some idea of what would follow. Which it did.
I am however, suprised I didn't get worse that I got ;)

Speaking of Oblivion though, there was one point in the main quest when I thought 'Bonehoard!' as soon as I was told about it. That whole part reminded my of Thief.
If you can't guess what it is, the initials are ST
Still can't get it? It's name is Sancre Tor
Come to think of it it's not really that much of a spoiler, but I dodn't what to give anyone preconcieved ideas if they play it and think "Oh, this is the Bonehoard mision Yametha was talking about" when they hear the name.

Enlightenment has to be sought, it can't be transmitted. I don't care to play semantic games or to continue in a thread that has gone so far south into a negative plane anyway. It certainly wasn't my intention to see it happen. In handsight, I may have used the words shit/crap so many times that it may have given a connotation of anger. That wasn't intended. I will restate my opinion: Bethesda makes games that are flawed. That doesn't mean they aren't good, or fun in their own way, but Bethesda does make flawed products with issues that remain unresolved. There are companies out there that have created more stable and flexible game engines, and who offer better product support. If you want to disagree with that that's fine. I'm sure there are modders here who will admit that Oblivion is not their first choice for a Thief mod.

I see. Well, thank you for sorting that out without too much flaming. You post three posts up was of a different sort. But, it's all over now.

I agree, I certainly agree! Do you know that something in Oblivion destroys the Z-Buffer information, so I have to play it in 2D? I'd place it only just above Morrowind for that. To those who normally play in 2D, Oblivion will no doubt be soo much better than Morrowind, but to someone such as myself, that drawback almost completely cancels out the advances made.

No disagreement, I believe that to be true.

Like me you mean? Interestingly enough I agree with all the important things in your last post.

The thing is Morrowind is a game that I want to love, but can't. And there are too many reasons to list for that. Kind of like how TDS is a game alot of us want to love, but can't. We all had high hopes expecting one thing, but were ultimately disappointed. Oblivion is the same for me, but I fear reprisal from the villagers so I'll leave it at that

Then I feel sorry for you (edit: I really do, I'm not rubbishing you or making fun of you). I really liked both Morrowind and Oblivion. And that's something it seems you won't be able to enjoy.
It should be noted that I don't think anyone would object to you saying things in a non-offensive mannner. I think it was the shit/crap thing that got up some people's noses.
On a side note, it seems that I'm the only person to have mentioned the name of that bonehoard-esque place on TTLG. I just did a search for it and this is the only post in which it appears.

Hey, guys. Let's play a game.
First you have to guess which game I'm thinking of.
Hint: It's one of my favourites.

Thief?

Mind you, Oblivion might be good for a Thief mod, but a different kind. The City could be made with the exterior terrain. It might not involve thieves as much (just as Redguard wasn't an RPG), but it could be set in the Thief universe.

I don't frequent Comm Chat, so I'm probably at a disadvantage here... Oblivion? :cheeky:

Oh, wait a second... opening a can of Whuppass on someone?
