You might have to go back to a saved game prior to when the force field went down.
Are you sure of where she was imprisoned?
Do you know what she looks like, so you would recognize her wherever she is (assuming she isn't the only person wandering around)

Having fun with this FM, and as stated in my earlier post, am very much impressed.
However, I've reached a point where searching further will only irritate me, so can someone please tell me where the [SPOILER]last gem is to unlock the Staff of Undine? I've got three, but the gem to be used on the upper-right spinning talisman's location eludes me.[/SPOILER]

I don't recall which gem you use on the upper right plate so here's where to find them all: There's one down in the hole in the cellar, one in a niche in the inside wall of the fireplace, one in a small hole in the floor in the sewers that you access from the courtyard and one tucked up in under the rafters of the flat rooftop. You get up there by climbing the ladder in the courtyard.

I'm not sure which one you are having trouble with, so here is the location for all 4:
[SPOILER]Fire Gem: look in the fireplace right beside the Undine
Water Gem: step outside into the courtyard, frob the sewer hatch, climb down and find your way to an intersection where a rectangle of water is on the floor.
Earth Gem: down in the basement by the pickaxe in the hole in the ground
Air Gem: by the sewer hatch in the courtyard is a ladder. Climb up and leap onto the ledge separating the courtyard from outside (NOT the tiny ledge jutting out inside the courtyard). Look up against the east wall where there is a cubby hole.[/SPOILER]
I would imagine the last one was the one you missed.
