I'm sorry to dissappoint you but that corridor doesn't lead anywhere. There's a secret in there in Bonehoard T2 conversion though :).

Wow. Good eye, brother. Have you managed to take a look at it in DroomED? I would do it myself but I'm on my Mac right now.
Maybe a back door to the Alarus Extension? ;)

Ah ok, unfortunately I don't possess Thief Gold with DromED 1 so I couldn't look it up in the editor :(

Nice try, but that's brick. How you shoot a rope arrow in brick?:weird:

That is no brick! if you take a close look at these pillars you will notice that this is a wood texture. But they made mistakes texturing them: the 2nd pillar from the right is complete covered by wood, all the other ones have a stone texture (like the ceiling) on their sides.
Take a look at this (
http://s7.directupload.net/images/080504/6hb3dx26.jpg) picture (my curent dromed project), at the ceiling:
This is a wood texture from Thief 2 and it looks like an update of the one they used for this pillars.
If you don't believe me: just try it out, you can shoot a rope arrow into each of the pillars (at least into their "front")...Maybe it is different in Thief Gold, but in Thief The Dark Project 1.3.3 it is working.

No, every one of those pictures are pictures of the ceiling with brick texture. Unless my eyes deceive me. I'm talking about the holes, not pillars.
Oh, I see what you are saying (observation before posting)... Those pillars in the very first shot have wood texture. Well, even if you shot a rope arrow and went up there, garrett couldn't possibly fit in one of those holes. I can be an idiot sometimes...... Rereading this thread makes me realize you were talking about shooting a rope arrow into a pillar, and then looking through the holes. This is an interesting find, I will need to check this out in the game for myself.

Ok I got you wrong. You're right, you can't shoot a rope arrow into the ceiling thats true and Garrett won't fit through the holes.
But I was wondering from where / which direction the tunnel comes and if it is possible to get into it from another place in this mission...
