I managed to find all the loot in this one, so let me know if you can't find it and I'll do up a loot list for you. :)

I guess I am the only one not finding the "mystery of the events....". Can some kind soul point me to where it is? I think I have checked every book, but obviously I haven't.

Thanks Timon for this small enjoyable mission :D
Took me longer to complete then I thought in the first place. Nicely build house, well hidden secrets and loot...one of the best Contest 4 missions. Great work :thumb:

This FM was one of the very first ones I played when I discovered Thief FMs, thanks to Ariane4Ever (French forum) where its translation was released around 2003 or 2004 I guess. At this time, I wasn't even speaking English (maybe 12 or 13yo) so I could play only translated FMs and it happens that this one was.
Anyway, I've kept a strong memory of Unfortunate Formulae (Potions de Malheur when I first played it) and today, I replayed and finally finished it !
I'm not going to make a detailled feedback as this FM is very old, but I have to say it's atmosphere, especially the rain, the garden, the ambient, all this makes it so unique, that's amazing. I don't know if it feels special because of the very personal memories I have with this one, or if the atmosphere is indeed awesome, but I have had a very good time playing it today, 20 years later.
Out of that, most of the puzzles are way too hard and not relevant anymore in 2025, but I strongly recommend you guys giving it a try for what the author tried to develop.
The story could have been amazing if it was developped within a longer FM or several small ones too.
Also, I am very thankful with all these authors from 2000-2005 who were the first ones to play with DromEd, create stuff, try things.
Even if most of them are not here anymore today, in some way they created a path for NewDark and for all our current authors who brought FMs to a totally different level.
So I'd like to thank all the authors from the beginning of DromEd, especially the forgotten ones
