Great job with this. I HATE text adventures (sorry!) but the story and Thiefy screenshots and sounds really hooked me. Thoroughly enjoyable. :thumb:

This looks rather good...:cheeky:

Are you planning to make another of these? I'd LOVE one that is longer, more like a "proper" text adventure with some puzzles and stuff. But even just another longer story type one would be most welcome! :D

Don't all laugh at once but I've never played a text adventure game before. :)
I thought this was absolutely amazing. Despite being told to play it at night, in the dark, I didn't. And I was still spooked by the sounds.
I hope there will be more of these. I really enjoyed it.
It's very odd replying to something that's being moved in the middle of replying.

Always good to hear when an idea works, guys :)
Further Santhworld GamesFirst of all: Yes, there's some more you could check out if you want. Take a look at the (
http://www.santharia.com/santhworld_modules/nepris/nepris_frame.htm) Mysteries of Nepris. Details are on that page with various further screenshots of what awaits there.
Some exemplary screens:

http://www.santharia.com/santhworld_modules/nepris/screenshots/13_small.jpgNote that this is actually a adventure/role playing game experience, combat takes place round based, similar to the old Bard's Tales games if anyone remembers. But of course it's much better ;) You will also talk to a bunch of characters there.
Anyway, to play that I suggest to definitely read the full instructions posted above first, as this one shows you a lot more of what Santhworld is capable of. Not every room is illustrated in this one, as it's pretty large already, but it's entirely done with the workforce of our artists.
One final note on the Mysteries of Nepris: This is a game that will be further expanded in the course of time by adding further playable areas. So what you currently hear as the backstory in the introduction refers to what there's still to come. The current key mission is to free a guy from Fizzlefist's Laboratory after an unfortunate incident - but this time you'll encounter more than ghosts... :D
The Santhworld EditorSo as the question was asked: There is an editor for Santhworld, but at the moment I'm the only one using it, as I'm always fine tuning stuff, though it is already pretty good to achieve decent results I'd say.
Here are some screenshots of the most important forms to give you an idea how it looks like:

http://stuff.santharia.com/artimidor/santhworld/4_small.jpgIf there's serious interest I could offer it for downloading and let you play around with it - and answer questions on the Santharian Dev Forum if you like. But you should have a little bit of basic coding experience to make conditions and stuff. Also I use Flash graphics to display the pics, so regular pics would need to be made into these.
But whenever there are ideas, I'd be happy if someone thinks about a module he/she wants to realize. Things needed would of course be graphics, sounds or background music - so if there are artists around here who'd like to help out with allowing a music to be used, or drawings, we surely could put something together I think.
In any case it takes its time, but I think if you play some of these modules you see the love for detail put into this - in case you like this kind of games ;)
