Unofficial OM & FM Text-patches

Two years ago I started fixing broken readables in various FMs.
Some had just some broken accents, but a good number had problems with truncated or omitted pages.
Amazing that these issues got never detected & fixed.

Anyway:
Here are the fixes for more then 100 missions. Use at your own risk.
The english and german fixes should be safe to use.
But be careful with any other language such as french, italian, etc... however in case I touched it, there was probably a reason to do so.
Most of the fixes were compiled within 2 weeks in summer 2011 and honestly I did not really catch up on the newer missions released since then due to lack of time. A few newer missions are included as well, though.
Eventually I might try to catch up some time later.
Check the readme for each individual mission, in case you are curious what needed to be fixed.

It isn't that much work after all. The hardest part was to create the program which identifies the problems.
Fixing them afterwards is much easier.

Oh what the hack... I went ahead and checked the more recent missions as well and added them to the ZIP above.
135 missions in total now.
More updates will not follow any time soon, though.

Looks like this one hasn't got too much feedback, but I just wanted to tell you here's a happy customer :) This patch is a must-have. I can't really understand how so many bugs got slipped into the final versions. At least Emilie Victor would have been impossible to complete without a walkthrough due to missing clues. And there must be more..

Thanks for your work, I completely missed this. Posted it at the french forum. :thumb:
Personally I always spend some times on readables to make sure they work fine, it breaks the immersion to find mistakes or bugs in texts. It's quite difficult as my english isn't top notch...
