Glad to see a msg from Phantom. Thank you for a reminder.

My mission 'The Best FM' was pretty much finished a long time ago. I got it in an alpha state, then modified a bit more. Unfortunately I never got down to fine-tune the last bits, expand some areas and add more objects, as these were the plans.

So I'd say it's still in alpha. It's extremely tough for me to say what are the plans. I'd like to release it one day, yet I have no idea when.

The idea for this mission was really cool and I bet it would entertain Thief community. Although the mission itself was nothing special - I wanted it to be small, but a solid piece of work.

(http://www.ttlg.com/forums/member.php?u=42001) Vasmarok's fan mission in development - entitled Back on the Streets - has been removed from the upcoming list.

There has been no news since (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118907&p=1984083&viewfull=1#post1984083) April 2010 so I asked Vasmarok if he could post an update. This is what he told me:

Unfortunately, the mission is currently on hold. My current job (teaching at a medical school) is taking most of my time and I have little time left for Dromeding or anything else. I worked on one room maybe a couple of month ago, but nothing I would consider significant. If you'd like to remove the mission from the list, it's OK with me, and hopefully one day I can surprise you with some new screenshots.

Let us hope he will return to finish the FM someday, as it looks very impressive :thumb:. Hey The Phantom,

I found recently this site on the internet. (http://personal.inet.fi/koti/morrgan/projects.html) It's about Morgans Projects. I was really impressed by those screenshots so I checked the Upcoming / abadonded FM List to see the progress status. Unfortunately, I couldnt find any information. Do you know something about the project? Morgan wrote on her webpage that she is almost finished so I thought you would know if and when there will be a release date.

Yes, consider that mission abandoned, Garrett (at least I deem it unlikely it will be released someday). Sadly Morrgan has retired from dromEd.

Lord of the Thieves Part 2 by (http://ttlg.com/forums/member.php?u=39156) Cavalorn, the successor to 'Attack of the Orc', is removed from the upcoming list, as the last public update dates of (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121917&p=1932576&viewfull=1#post1932576) November 2009.

The removal should only be temporaily though, as the author is still working on the second installment of his series :)

So, updates....

First, Xavier's is still not done yet, something I can only apologise profusely for.

In my defence, my estimate of the early part of 2011 was based on assumptions about time availability that ended up quite hilariously incorrect (see also: jury duty, followed by having to move, followed by HR screwing up and leaving me doing my job and most of a co-worker's for three months, followed by Important Projects, and more.) For much of the first half of the year I had little or no time to work on Xavier's Library or Shadowed Mayfield, beyond sketching out ideas and little bits of object work.

Things have calmed down a bit (for now, at least!), and recently I've been getting back to working on both, if somewhat sporadically. I had a few ideas for changes and additions to Xavier's, so I've been working on them and generally trying to nail down the remaining parts of the sewers, clock tower, [CLASSIFIED], and [NOT AVAILABLE AT YOUR CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE]. Mayfield has had some rebuilding done to take advantage of techniques I've picked up working on Xavier's; no dramatic progress, and Xavier's is still my focus, but a few areas are tighter now and easier to work on.

I'm reluctant to give time estimates for Xavier's at the moment, partly out of the fear that, if I do, the next thing I hear will be the whistling sound of the next shoe about to drop on me :erm: But yes; I Aten't Ded, nor are my missions, I'm just working away at them kinda slowly at the moment (which is better than not at all, I hope.)
