Upcoming & Abandoned FMs List

Another quick update about my upcoming FMs, Stormrunner and SoE2.

I've been extremely busy lately with work and other projects lately so the progress I've been making in both FMs has been very slow at best. Stormrunner is still hovering around 90%-ish, while SoE2 I'd say is roughly 80% complete. I'm thinking progress for both should speed up around the end of November when I'm more free.

Thanks as always, Phantom. Our progress on DCE is slower than before, but we're still plodding through it. The colder weather approaching probably means more inside time and thus more Dromed time for me in the coming months.

Also, just wanted to say I remember when the number of authors was 3x what it is now. :(

Right now, I'm feeling very motivated to create a new set of FMs after returning to what I'm quite good at with DromEd: building ships and submarines :laff:
I've already got a story and a plan for a set of 3-4 missions and the first goal of creating a decent looking Nautilus has been accomplished as well (see (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118907&p=2093237&viewfull=1#post2093237) this post if you're interested). My plan is to extend the concept of diving suits and the like, as used in Keeper Investigations to provide the player with the experience of underwater treasure-hunting in ship wreckages.

I suppose you can add me/my mission to your list, The Phantom. Maybe it will keep me properly motivated to finish it.

That's great, Brethren :thumb: I liked Through No Vault Of My Own and it's awesome news you're working on another FM again. Hope you finish it, the setting sounds intruiging.

Yeah, me too Russ. I remember when the number of authors in the list surpassed 100, back when this thread just started. Sadly many promising missions got scrapped (due to real life) or got lost in a crash (explaing the length of the '(http://ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1684415#post1684415) abandoned list').
But it's still remarkable how many FMs are still being made, and many aren't even listed as upcoming here. Thankfully the community is still going strong :)

That reminds me, are you planning on doing another thief's holiday any time soon, Yandros? I loved A Thief's Holiday 2004, and was hoping you'd make a new mission for the holidays.

I've ruminated on this for years and honestly, I don't have any real good ideas for a holiday mission. The only winter-themed one I had was for a snowball fight and I did that already. My best bet is to keep pushing with DCE and hope we make it for a holiday 2012 release.
